The truth shows it was important for use to be there in support to keep Afghanistan from being a terrorist base. That’s history that’s facts. All that genders studies you want Americans to remember goes out the window when terrorist strike. Why do liberals think bad guys won’t hurts us if we are nice to them.
I think most criticism for the evacs come from the fact that the Admin didnt pay close enough attention to the speed at which taliban forces were sweeping across the country. Had they acted sooner, they could have worked with the Afghan forces to properly secure safe exits and track down allies at risk. The fact they didnt and now all exits are controlled by the taliban, makes the evacs of internationals, US and allied nations citizens as well as natives at risk a much more dangerous and difficult task. Those of us living in reality understand trump and his cowardly admin set this crisis in motion when he surrendered Afghanistan to the taliban without securing any national security strategy to get people out or prepare the Afghan forces, however the Biden admin have dropped the ball and have difficult times ahead. Its not just about getting US folk out, we have a duty to save Afghani allies and those at most risk too.

Militarily it was NOT a lost war. We had control and Afghan women, men and children had a better life for the past 20yrs. America leaving now makes it a loss for the Afghan people.

I am also highly irritated the Biden administration has most of the news propaganda channels stating the Afghan military did not fight and allowed the Taliban to take over. The facts according to U.S. military service members state the Biden administration did nothing to support the Afghan army as the Taliban marched all across the land. What good are 208 aircraft, 75,000 vehicles (20,000 of which were Humvees and 2,000 were armored vehicles), 599,000 weapons, and 16,000 night vision goggles without guidance, fuel and ammunition? No intelligence or logistical support? Zero supplies while they were being marched on? Mind boggling Biden is blaming the Afghan people. What were they supposed to do once they ran out of fuel, ammo and supplies. Giving up was their only option. Biden offered them zero support while the CIA and Defense Dept watched in real time as they practically took over in one week.
