Authorities on Friday said they found the getaway vehicle an escaped inmate and corrections officer may have used when they mysteriously disappeared from a northern Alabama jail one week ago. But officials say the officer, Vicky White, 56, and inmate, Casey White, 38, were long gone by the time authorities located the abandoned 2007 orange Ford Edge in a Tennessee towing lot.

Authorities say the officer used an alias to purchase the SUV and is likely using new false identities as the manhunt continues for the pair. "We're sort of at a loss," Lauderdale County Sheriff Rick Singleton said Friday, noting the discovery of the vehicle puts them "back at square one."

    1. @nina carranza Start a family can mean having kids or adopting kids, the person at the top did not explain what they meant by saying start a family.

  1. Think of all the relationships that start off so much better than this and still don’t work out…

    1. Well he threatened to kill her before he was even in prison, I wouldn’t doubt that she is a dirty cop with other stuff

    2. @Austin Rowell I’ve seen stuff about him threatening to kill a former girlfriend. Never saw anything that said he threatened to kill the corrections officer. A former inmate said she was liked by everyone.

    3. @jmr1068204 I could very be wrong! When I first heard the story I thought that she was the same ex girlfriend and they reunited accidentally (like he was charged for something else and ran into her) but now I know thanks

  2. Is this an Gringo El Chapo 😆 😂 man except this guy probably didn’t pay 3 million to help coordinate his escape 🤦‍♂️ lucky man

  3. Even if she helped him, I’d put money down that she’s not alive anymore. Once he was free, she became a liability, but we’ll see.

    1. No. She lived out her usefulness to him. And if/when caught he won’t give up where her body is.

    2. @Wendy Hardin I dont know why or how he killed the first women years ago. But why would that automatically make him a serial killer out to kill anyone he sees? Your thinking is that because he killed one person in 34 years, he is now supposed to do it to every other person he sees?

  4. I admire this strong love they got going on. All my ex girlfriends stabbed me in the back and this is the type of woman you want by your side.

    1. @Fusion1790 maybe this isn’t the kind of love to teach kids. In fairytale land maybe “getting a lover out of jail” is romantic, but in reality this is a toxic relationship that is putting people in danger. Tough girls saving their man is awsome, but this ain’t it fam.

    2. @Helix i think he tried to but she survived, remember hearing her on the news pleading for Vicky to get away from him because he could be dangerous

  5. why did she throw out peaceful retired life for this criminal? i don’t understand

    1. Love seldom makes sense.

Regardless of the social perspectives on the ethics and morality, who are we to know what kind of life this woman had? Was she depressed? Did she find companionship in this man?
Enough so that it literally made her take the biggest leap in her life, throwing it all away, for this man?
      We’ll probably never know.

    2. He played her this whole time so he could escape. When they get caught I can bet that will be his story.

  6. The media is seriously milking this story for all its worth. We really don’t need an update every 1/2hr. Just tell us when they find the body(s).

  7. That’s a rather light reward for information. They won’t get away with it though. They’ll be found.

  8. I really hope they turn themselves in & this ends in the best way possible. They are now infamous, quit while you’re on top!

    1. I hope they spend the rest of their life on a nice quiet small little island in the beautiful Caribbean

  9. How long before they find her body when the convict decides she’s no longer valuable to him and a detriment to him getting caught and sent back to prison?

    1. Why you sooo cynical? He’s only a criminal. That don’t mean he isnt honest and good 😵‍💫 in the alternate universe.

    2. Well I hope she doesn’t see it coming because I couldn’t imagine what would be going in her head if there was a struggle. Men throw themselves at women and she’s out here helping a murderer escape prison

  10. This reminds me of the time when a certain teacher ran off with the 17 year old meth head at my high school.

    It did not end well.

  11. Probably left the country.
The guy is 6′ 9″ , heard he may be in a wheelchair, sounds like they worked on the escape for awhile.
A guy his height would be noticed.

  12. Them ditching the car was smart of them… They should probably leave the country though if they want to stay free

  13. Tell them what they want to hear

He got what He needed $$$$$$$ He’s on his way out of the Country – Alone!
