I get your gist (unthinking platitude) but … there are INFINITE things as precious.
– a toddler beating childhood leukemia
– anyone (child, adult) “clicking” how reading works
– a parent waking from “sudden death syndrome” … with (ohthankyou) no brain damage
– anyone walking away from a “totalled” car crash with minor injuries
your “nothing” implies everything else is small. maybe you didn’t mean to? (I’m guessing you didn’t – people write tropes w/o thinking about what their words actually mean all the time.)
p.s. you can’t birth an old baby. THINK about what you write maybe?
