The actress, 53, was the driver in a crash in which her vehicle smashed into a home in Mar Vista, resulting in a fire.

TV news video showed a blue Mini Cooper Clubman, badly damaged and burned, being towed out of the home, with a woman sitting up on a stretcher and struggling as firefighters put her in an ambulance.

  1. prayers for her and the woman and her pets that were displaced. they all have a horrific trauma to recover from.

  2. If she was drunk or on drugs, it would explain the erratic driving that occurred and the two crashes: first into a garage which she fled, and then second into the home that caught fire once that crash occurred. I’m very surprised she was still alive when firefighters got her out; not surprised that she is in a coma because of third-degree burns and other injuries. I would not be surprised if she succumbs to her injuries.

    1. Agree 100%. Age plus % of 3rd burns = mortality. She is also a smoker which means her lungs are already compromised.

  3. My 10 yo cousin was in the yard of his daycare when a drunk man drove up into the playground hitting and killing him the day care owners husband happened to be there that day grabbed Chris tried to push him away from the car. Alcohol might be a money maker but it kills and destroys if a person has to drink to feel good there is something wrong with their life. Sorry but hurting innocent people is not the answer. I am sure Anne is going to feel really bad about this hopefully she uses her experience in victim impact meetings and gets sober and encourages others to get sober.

    1. So sorry for your loss!! 😢 Alchohol ruins more lives than any other mind altering substance. It’s also the only drug where if you say you DON’T do it, you’re questioned and asked why and you’re looked down upon for NOT doing it (at least when younger anyway).

  4. I really feel terrible for All those impacted by this horrible accident including Anne Heche… but at No time is it ok to jump into a car while drunk! In some respects this is her karma for doing something that she knew was wrong! She did this to herself! I am shocked in knowing all the damage she did that no one else was hit or killed by her actions! That poor lady and her pets in the house at the time of impact will have nightmares for the rest of her life! Her neighbour is a true Hero for jumping in like he did, it’s a shame he couldn’t help Anne any faster to get her out of the burning car!

  5. Of course drugs/alcohol involved… Of course… She may have been in a total blackout…I have been…. You have absolutely no consciousness of the moment . Your brain is going through the motions but you’re not there…. It’s awful… But prayers and hopes for her… Thankfully no one else was hurt or worse.. Hang tough Anne… Survive this.

    1. deliberately? Try and have sympathy for all involved.I highly doubt she intentional wanted to cause damage to anyone or herself. She’s in a coma with severe injuries.Lets pray instead of spreading hate.🙏

    2. Heche set this scenario in motion. She was most likely under the influence of something . She chose to get into a car and drive like a bat out of hell with no regard for public safety! My sympathies lie with the lady that bore the brunt of her recklessness! I am not celebrating that Heche is seriously injured, but this is her consequence.

  6. I am more concerned about the residents health and well-being. It’s a horrible thing she did. She literally destroyed someone else’s home cause she decided to be reckless and speed crashing into an unexpected person’s home. Money doesn’t make someone privileged to do as they please.

  7. Does anyone recall years back when she was roaming around speaking “Venusian”? This woman has issues for sure.

  8. OMG!
That car was not just going over the speed limit by a little bit ! 😲
Still a lot of questions on WHY.
    M 🦘🏏😎

  9. Goodness! That speed in a residential area??? No damn excuses! My thoughts are with the lady owning the home, Anne, and her family and friends 💚

  10. That screechy noise is so scary. It gives me the chills. So tragic this even happened or happens 🤨
