As soon as the video was shown of JT calling him a dear friend and neighbour… there is a conflict!! The criticism is not hypocrisy Joyce but I guess that’s the Liberal line.

Well, it depends on who hired him and who’s overseeing him, not to mention his findings.
When something looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks, it is a duck. Having a long time family friend check your closet for skeletons, is a duck. As Rosenburg said, a sane person who is not a friend of the Trudeau family, they would have come to a different conclusion.
My whole opinion of Johnston has changed. I thought he was one of our better Governor General’s. Not any more!! He’s pandering to the worst Prime Minister this country has ever had. If we don’t get rid of him soon our country will never be the same again. I’ll never vote Liberal again.

Not about Johnston’s reputation, it’s that he is a close family friend of Trudeau’s. Conflict of interest is the reason a Public Inquiry must happen.
