Truckers that cross the border are bound by international and continental treaties. Per international travel norms, including travel to the USA, vaccines are a requirement.
Vaccines are not a political issue. Only individuals who are selfish are making it a political issue. Their threats have made this group an extremist fringe group. They do not matter as we are changing up old unsafe truck drivers for brand spanking new self driving vehicles.
