Finally a real Attorney General working for the people and not the president, or for personal interest.

To all the attorneys who resigned in protest against
    William Barr last year,
    HERE’S YOUR CHANCE !
You now have the opportunity to right all wrongs under
    Trump and Barr

  6. We haven’t had a real AG for years.

The next words I want to hear from Garland are: subpoenas, grand juries, and indictments.

    • @D j mahaney I’m afraid you’re gonna have to prove I’m a racist, Sparky

@Democratshate America That must be why the FBI recently shared a 2 year covered up report (thanks to trump) that the biggest security threat to our country is white supremacists.

    • Angela Siegfried | March 17, 2021 at 1:58 PM | Reply

@Democratshate America Yes b/c now that we know trump faked the FBI report into Kavanaugh’s background Whitehouse has requested the FBI do that investigation again. 🙂
      Cheers!

@Sojourner Girls First at Covid lies and deaths.”You just breathe the air and that’s how it’s passed,” Trump said in a Feb. 7 call to Bob Woodward. “And so that’s a very tricky one. That’s a very delicate one. It’s also more deadly than even your strenuous flus.” “This is deadly stuff.” the president repeated for emphasis.During a press conference he then told the public he hoped churches would be full by easter. T**** lied & people died.

Hate to burst your bubble, but that will NEVER happen.

  8. Get them traitors and put em away like the Benidict Arnold’s they are.

  9. I’m certain we’re going to hear a lot of “this is politically motivated” every time a Republican is under scrutiny for their corrupt deeds.

    • Oh ya for sure, those criminals and traitors will be saying that and a lot of other nonsense.

    • Theresa Kalsch | March 13, 2021 at 1:47 PM | Reply

It will be their battle cry.

    • I am so far beyond caring what rightwingers have to say about anything. America has chosen truth over their lies. Full stop.

    • aka, I know I committed crimes and there’s evidence but I don’t want to be prosecuted.

We have a lot of Democrats under scrutiny now. There is a revolt against Cuomo in New York State. The governor of California is close to being recalled. The Michigan governor is under investigation. Look at the cries of systemic racism coming from our most progressive cities that has been under democratic control for years. So far, we’re not doing the best job in the world. This is why I believe we have to clean up our party and remove the corrupt and entrenched political class.

  10. Some might say a ‘new’ Attorney General, many would say an actual Attorney General.

Garland has a lot of cleaning house to do immediately.

@R L T “Biden is a laughing stock with our allies.”
the entire UN laughed in trump’s face.
      Biden is a step up.

    • Hurray! The DOJ won’t be corrupt anymore.

    • Investigate Bill/Ba/rr

    • @No Name There are so many possible crimes during the trump mess. The undermining of the CDC and trump’s pandemic lies could be negligent homicide on a giant level. The insurrection 1-6, could be incitement, obstruction of congress, the Georgian attempt at vote fraud, the firing of the FBI director in aid of crime, 10 obstruction of justice charges from the Mueller Report, dangling of pardons & witness tampering, etc, etc.

  12. Is he also going to investigate the members of Congress involved in the insurrection?

  13. It’s pretty bad that one needs to become a President of The United States to destroy the DOJ to avoid criminal prosecution. God
Bless everyone that protected our Constitution.

    • Chasbo Daniels | March 12, 2021 at 4:44 PM | Reply

Interesting point Leslie. We should remember that Orange POS’s lengthy background of criminality … his daddy Fred schooled him in under reporting assets and overstating expenses AND evading tax exposure.

    • TR45H gutted so many federal agencies ….it will take years to clean up this mess. His people also burrowed into lower positions.

    • Susan Teeter | March 12, 2021 at 8:07 PM | Reply

What’s really bad is he was able to. Time to give those “protection measures” a tune up.

  14. Biden and his staff are doing a wonderful job and I will never ever vote Republican again

    • Trapped under the red hat. Nope. Liberated from that hate fear scare the church lady party. Conservative values …..what a joke.

    • Nicolette Marinelli | March 18, 2021 at 1:29 PM | Reply

Biden is horrible and a walking cadaver. Other countries don’t even want to deal with him. Biden cheated and the entire world knows that

    • Nicolette Marinelli | March 18, 2021 at 1:30 PM | Reply

@Kirill S. You were no Republican ever! Just a lying democrat

    • @Nicolette Marinelliso not true . It’s just very hard to find truly republicans. Almost all of them looks like talking heads and nothing more. General line most of them – do not let dems help Americans for just be elected. And of course all of them, including half of dems, happy to take money from big corps.

    • Bruce Nicholls | March 21, 2021 at 4:53 PM | Reply

Thank God for Merrick Garland and yes,Biden is knocking it out of the park, left and right!

  15. cheri atkinson | March 12, 2021 at 11:09 AM | Reply

Traitors, all. Garland will get ‘em!

  16. For most Republicans the idea of _equal justice for all_ is a nightmare.

  17. Thomas Thompson | March 12, 2021 at 12:03 PM | Reply

I confess I was wrong — I thought the Senate would never confirm him, despite his excellent qualifications. I’m very pleased.

    • Probably because they knew Barr was SO corrupt, that any marginally a-political AG would uncover and expose just how shockingly bad he really was. So, they figured, they might as well just Garland through.

    • There were 30 Republican Senators that voted against Garland…very good place to start taking out the garbage!

    • @B Jack I just scrolled through them. So predictable.

  18. A real DOJ the job is for Merrick Garland, A true Hero.

  19. Austin Houde | March 12, 2021 at 2:58 PM | Reply

A honest Attorney General? How refreshing. Can Barr get prosecuted for his actions?

    • T. R. Campbell | March 17, 2021 at 9:12 AM | Reply

@Bianca Culpo I was anxiously awaiting your reply about what ‘we know’ and I have not yet received one. I hope all is well with you. Happy St. Patrick’s Day.

    • @T. R. Campbell he mightve

    • Elaine Burnett | March 18, 2021 at 6:19 PM | Reply

      Yes, yes he can😁😊😀😃🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    • Christine Reed | March 22, 2021 at 4:37 AM | Reply

Exactly what actions are you referring to?

    • T. R. Campbell | March 22, 2021 at 9:24 AM | Reply

@TMC CLIFFORD Anyone can be prosecuted for any reason. I recall what Joseph Stalin said, ‘show me the man and I will show you the crime.’ Anyone can be prosecuted but under our system of law now if there was no crime there could be no guilty verdict.

  20. Well, Trumps battle cry of “drain the swamp” is finally coming to fruition.
