Newman said, “The autopsy was attended by two members of the Aurora police dept., the very department that killed Elijah McClain…it was a very politicized process."

Name the offence, and state whether or not he was he was informed that he was being arrested on suspicion of having committed such offence.
It is no grounds for arrest to wear a ski mask at night and walk along and swing your arms to music.
The officers, as the lawyer said, could have observed him for a bit. Had they done that they would have seen him walk home. Or they could just have had a conversation with him without escalating it to massive physical force within seconds.
That was a militarised response, not civic policing – as most of the rest of the developed world would understand it.
It was wholly disproportionate force.

it’s time 911 operators need to filter these calls and slow the response time , especially if the caller is not in immediate danger. This caller was reporting a suspicious pedestrian with no hint of a crime suggested.
