And I have been watching politics as a hobby for over fifty years and know very well that there are the same amount of crooks on both sides. So the numbering of crooks does not work with me. And I know how the system works. And I am not on a site for any normal conversation anyway. I just like screwing with the ignorant. I think as much of this liberal crowd and you think of the conservative crowd. Plain scum.
@Andrew Pinson Fair enough. I was what used to be described as a moderate. I voted for R’s if I thought deserved my vote. I thought we were getting close to an inclusive society in the mid 2000s. Nobody seemed to care if someone was different. Then trump came along and blew it all up. For 25 years my work colleagues and I used to be able to have lively discussions with both sides getting the better of it at different times. Then 2016 happened and, all of a sudden, it was impossible to have a political discussion without animus. EVERY ISSUE became binary, “you’re for or against”. We had great Xmas parties every year, but they canceled them after a fight broke out in ’17. I had an uncle, who used to be the nicest guy in the world. But then he turned into “super maga” and became incapable of talking about anything but right wing politics. He only listens to right wing hate radio and fox tv, nothing else. He used to like sports, no more. He missed his own daughter’s wedding reception because it “ran into Hannity”. He lost all his friends over this behavior. I only agree with Biden about 55% of the time, about the average for people I’ve voted for. But magas would drink trump’s bath water if he asked them to. It’s dangerous to worship human beings like that.
