Biden Adviser: Covid Relief Bill Will Pass Because It's Popular | The Beat With Ari Melber | MSNBC

  1. The relief bill helps everyday Americans, so the GOP is naturally against it. If the bill benefited billion dollar corporations and the most wealthy, republicans would sign it faster than you can say “trickle down economics.”

    1. We will still send millions to Pakistan so the can pay for gender reassigments right, or all those evil Nazi Republicans still trying to stop trillions of our dollars going to other countries?

    2. @Joe LIedone Either you are too stupid to understand the payment to Pakistan or deliberately lying. It was $10 million to help women who are oppressed as they are in many countries. Nothing to do with gender reassignment. .

    3. @Joe LIedone You send that money, that blood money, to pay for all the lives you’ve taken over there. You are living in a country that kills people for oil. If God was real this is would part of his punishment for you, for your decades of war/murder on people. You deserved the last 4 years of of having a clown as POTUS and all the outcome of him.

  2. It is America’s shame that there is even a question about “Should we provide emergency relief…..during an emergency.”

  3. Hopefully the GOP listens to their constituents long enough that they are forced to pass it. They are very good at ignoring the voices of anyone who isn’t already wealthy and powerful.

    1. @Louise Cardinal We kinda need republicans, since Joe Manchin and another democrat wouldn’t agree unless the $15 min wage is taken out.So yay for conservative democrats.

  4. Pass the bill now, if the republicans don’t sign up to support it, it will solidify the house in the future. Too many Americans are now watching and seeing how corrupt this government really is.

  5. US Media need to interview New Zealand and Taiwan pandemic experts.
CDC briefings would benefit from zoom connected global advisers.
Covid variants = US has 10 variants, 2 UK, 1 South Africa, 1 Brazil and 1 China.
2020 the virus possibly originated in China. 2021 there is no debate the virus is from US.

  6. Popular doesn’t mean GOP will pass it.Maybe include more tax cuts for the rich and limit the scope to a small town, then they’ll think about it.

  7. Man it’s February already. Give a date because people are getting tired of hearing about something that seems like it’s never going to happen

    1. @Hankakah that may be true but when the democrats took over and promised quick passage of that relief money the ball moved over to their court. And the American people see if they really want something passed it doesn’t take long so that’s the problem

  8. All the people complaining need to understand that if it were completely up to Democrats the bill would have been passed already.. Senator Manchin has already said he is not going to agree to it if the $15 dollar per hour minimum wage is included. Without his vote Democrats cannot pass it on their own.

    1. I think that’s what will be taken out of the bill unfortunately. Biden hinted at that. But— I hope they raise the minimum wage based on where you live. That needs to happen. $15 in colorado where I am is necessary, but may not apply to every state, although it would be fine by me.

  9. We finally have grown up and mature government officials in the White House…This maybe a bit premature but…Biden 4 more years!!

  10. This relief bill, like any before it, has yet to address those slipping between the cracks, especially caregivers, mothers & children, & people on fixed incomes, who feel the effects of extra monetizing & inflation, without receiving any of the buffer provided to other people. If the unemployment department is providing relief to those who had jobs, what of those who were already out of work, or between jobs? ..or busy care~giving for no pay?

  11. i’m telling ya if y’all give in to these republicans and don’t give what americans need u will only be there for 4 yrs
