Hahahaha! The Republicans have been in control of the government for decades. When we have had Democratic presidents, they have been centrist, corporate types who went along with Republican policies. Clinton signed NAFTA and went against his own party to do so. He also signed the Republican welfare reform bill and crime bill. Obama kept Bushβs economic advisers and maintained the Wall Street bailout started by Bush. The idea that Democrats are to blame for the Republican policies that have dominated since Reagan is ridiculous. The Democrats have just been the controlled opposition doing the Republicansβ bidding for years. You have the situation backwards; the reason things are as they are is due to following the Republican policies. Trickledown economics didnβt work.
