The man is almost 98 years old. He’s lived a long time. Lung cancer sucks. Any cancer sucks.
@D RiteMoLawzBks oh please… If there was more money to be had in curing cancer rather than the vast, expensive “treatments” that exist, there would’ve been one by now. The resources necessary to solve it are simply not allocated in that area, unfortunately.

@Rodger Woods My grandparents lived to 94 & 99 yrs old. My grandpa died at 94 and outlived 2 of his drs!
I remember telling him about the US sending men to the moon. He never believed it. He said “Oh, that’s just a story they’re telling us, it’s not true.”
Years later, I saw a movie about a mission to the moon. It had to be aborted due to problems. But the government didn’t want to admit it, they were afraid the funds to the space program would be cut. They wanted the astronauts to pretend the mission happened & pressured them to lie to their families & the public, saying that it happened & was a success.
I don’t remember the name of the movie, but it made me think of my grandpa & our conversation about the 1969 moon landing.
In his time, he literally went from seeing horse & buggies to cars, to airplanes, to rockets to the moon!
Don’t worry folks Joe Biden said he is going to cure cancer if he is elected. There’s light at the end of the tunnel, soon.

I very rarely agreed with his poiitics, but in the many, many hours I heard him on TV and radio over the years, he was able to keep a civil tongue and speak of other Americans as opponents rather than enemies, and to wish upon them a sound electoral thrashing, rather than death. I wish him and his family only peace and comfort.

When confronted with the fact he had a mistress, Bob Dole agreed if the media wouldn’t report it, then he would say NOTHING about Bill Clinton poking around in trash.
This is going to shave weeks off of his life.
While I can’t agree with a lot of his politics, I do look up to him as a war hero and veteran. I wish him a speedy recovery.
