An Ontario woman was shocked when Mastercard refused her dispute claim on $4,600 for a taxi while vacationing in the Dominican Republic.

  1. It wasn’t the wrong currency, if it was chip and pin then possibly a sus POS terminal, they can be tampered with quite easily. This is why pin pads and machines typically have a physical security seal that makes them tamper evident, no one ever checks this? How often do you flip a pin pad over to see if the tamper seal is over one of the the screws?
