I truly doubt Mr. Chong actually “worries” about this at all. It is a political opportunity for him.
He may or may not worry about himself, but I will bet he is concerned about his relatives in Hong Kong.
He is 100% worried about it- it affects him personally. However, I quite like Chong and feel like he does care in general.
Whether it affects him or not, allowing foreign interference is still concerning to all Canadians.
