      Yeah, this “god” is soooo good. Just ask the 125,000 people already dead from SARS-CoV2, and the millions already stricken. I’ll put my faith in medical research and some common sense practices. If I rely on any deity, I’ll probably end up dying…

    • Trinity Cisneros That’s your choice and your opinion just like assholes everybody has one. I don’t care what you think or feel, my statement was directed to Chris Cuomo. You can keep and have your opinion somewhere else, thank you!

    Chris, thank you for speaking of the symptoms, so I don’t feel like I’m alone or that I’m going crazy. I’m a single mom, and a small business owner. My fever started 11 days ago, I felt like I got hit by a Mack Truck. Initially my lungs were fine, so they wouldn’t test me, but that has since changed. I was able to get tested yesterday, but have to wait 7 days for the results. I am exhausted all the time, currently feeling like I’ve been hit by a Fiat, but the brain fog is debilitating. I also feel like my nerves are raw, similar to when I had shingles. My 2 teenage kids are also showing symptoms, but they are much milder. Social distancing has caused me to shut down the workshop side of my business, but the fear of contaminating others has forced me to close my online business also. We will get through this! We are fighters, but I also fear that I will never get my mental functioning back, I’m scared. Thank you for letting me know I’m not alone.

    • Monsters Made with Love when I had suspected covid it took me 2 weeks to get over it . For a week a had a low grade fever mine started as stomach issues first then a sore throat and fever of 99.6 ( I also run low 97.3 or lower ) very tired and joints hurt my anxiety was horrible my heart rate was 100 resting my whole body had shivers and I was shaking I’m not sure 100% if it was covid but it was one of the weirdest things I had

    • Fionabuster D. Yes, exactly what I thought, maybe it never leaves, like how chicken pox stays with you and when you’re older you get shingles from it. Wonder when they will figure it out. They do say long term lung damage but I can’t even get over half of the symptoms and my life is set up so that I should be able to heal.

    • Keep on fighting it! Do everything you can to be as healthy as possible especially when it comes to diet and such.

    • @Agirlhasnoname 1 the first case of coronavirus was recorded in China back in November.

    • @Jodie A. I feel like you should contact your local hospital about it.

  13. Lol that is literally how I felt. Everything else was fine. But then that stupid fever would keep coming back. Especially at night. But I got the body aches with it. It is stupidly annoying

  14. The fever generates the pneumonia.

    Hang in there…. my dear hubby was discharged yesterday retaining 92% O2 reading.
    Taken by ambulance to Norwich Hospital in UK on 4 April 2020. O2 readings down to 74%.
    He began symptoms 13 March 2020, we’ve been on isolation since Mid January 2020 for chemotherapy protections.

    Exhaustion from body working so hard, the lung damage is causing great harm.

    Stay home and stay safe.

  15. He’s real. And doesn’t sugar coat. I like that

    I know that look on his face because I’ve been there: he’s suffering from FULL-BLOWN ANXIETY right now, it’s a very dark place and one literally needs to learn the proper skill set to deal with it, which doesn’t happen overnight. I didn’t get my anxiety from the coronavirus but got it a few years ago as a rookie teacher in a Title I classroom with no training on how to function in that environment. I once went 2 nights in a row with no sleep whatsoever, routinely woke up at 4:00 AM unable to get back to sleep and even when I was able to sleep all night, it was like there was this gray cloud hovering over me at all times and, as Mr. Cuomo put it here, I just couldn’t shake it.

    Just hang in there man. Again, I know the feeling, but you WILL get through this.

      Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
      1He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
      Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
      2I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
      My God, in Him I will trust.”
      3Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
      And from the perilous pestilence.
      4He shall cover you with His feathers,
      And under His wings you shall take refuge;
      His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
      5You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
      Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
      6Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
      Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
      7A thousand may fall at your side,
      And ten thousand at your right hand;
      But it shall not come near you.
      8Only with your eyes shall you look,
      And see the reward of the wicked.
      9Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
      Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
      10No evil shall befall you,
      Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
      11For He shall give His angels charge over you,
      To keep you in all your ways.
      12In their hands they shall bear you up,
      Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
      13You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
      The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
      14“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
      I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
      15He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
      I will be with him in trouble;
      I will deliver him and honor him.
      16With long life I will satisfy him,
      And show him My salvation.”

      Thank you for being so courageous to continue with it and teach kids who need you!

    • You need to call upon Jesus and St. Michael the archangel.. the dark cloud over you the anxiety.. I know. I know too well.

    • I left after over two years as a Title 1 teacher and before that two years as a teacher’s aide at a children’s hospital, after starting to have full blown panic attacks and crippling anxiety. I left on Medical Leave. I made it over four years though, in the Title 1 system.

    Appreciate his honesty. People need to fully understand the impact of this virus.

    • Fionabuster D. | April 14, 2020 at 10:41 PM | Reply

      @MORE AR15’s I believe this virus was foisted upon us, but it is NOT a hoax!! You do much damage when you spout like this without putting in the research to put things into a factual perspective. As well, you “hoaxers” don’t understand how you hurt those whom have lost loved ones. You need to pull your head out and stop and DO MORE due diligence. Stop being disrespectful and evil.

    • Barbara Willis no reason to fake an illness huh? Do you realize the amount of funds these healthcare places are receiving? Do you know the volume of the vaccine they are engineering and how much money it will produce? You foolish man wake up and realize ppl do crazy things all the time and this virus has gotten literally everyone afraid. And ppl will pay through the nose to get the vac when it’s ready. And yea lil dude ppl fake stuff all the time.

    • Fionabuster D. I’m around this so called horrible virus daily. I work in it. And I see first hand how numerous of ppl respond to it. Shutting the world down for this. Your ignorant lil homie, but go on keep believing the media on everything they put out. For the past two wks normal everyday ppl have proven the media wrong. It’s scare tactics, something else is going on and we’ll never know cuz the whole world is focused on this one thing.

    • Barb who have no idea who would fake anything. Shut your mouth up. When you talk you look foolish.

    Chris, I have had the covid 19 for this is going on 6 weeks. I think I am fine and try to do normal things. The next day I am wiped out. I am missing my grandkids, human touch, food and friendship. I went through the feeling of pop rocks going off in my chest and throat, only being able to take small sips of water because I couldn’t breathe. Coughing, fever, exhaustion, sadness, fear, and even guilt. Guilt that I made it at 59 when that beautiful young nurse did not. Guilt for being bored, impatient and exasperated when the others are fighting for their lives or lost the fight. Feeling like no one understands me or what toll this has taken on my life. It has made me angry to see people thinking it isn’t that bad, thinking we are overreacting. We are not. I couldn’t breathe. I was afraid to not have at least one foot on the floor while sleeping prone foot uncovered so I could feel the fan. Why? Because I felt as long as I could do this I wouldn’t die as I lay with the sound of pop rocks going off in my chest and throat. I was diagnosed with a secondary infection that needed antibiotics. That is when I started to get better. It is frightening to read what it can do to your body. I would pee myself, struggle for air, and ribs and stomach hurt so bad because it felt like someone was inflating a ball inside me. Thank God I made it and thank God you and Brooke made it. This whole experience changes you spiritually. I will never be the same.
