It was blasting all over the radio late last year it was available for pick-up. Jamaican people and this last minute mindset kmt. I picked up mine in early December, always looking to blame and not take responsibility.

I’m seeing a lot of comments about last minute! It’s not about last minute! It’s about putting a good system in place to accommodate the needs of the people. If everyone is going to come late December and early January just change the expiration date to people date of birth! Easy! It took me only one minute to come up with this idea, the government needs to do better! If your ID expires in December it’s human nature to renew it in December.

I apply for my new card from last year October. ..and up until now its not ready…so its longer than a two months wait!
I really hope that it’s just for Identification purposes these people need these ID as there is no one to actually vote for. But Jamaicans have a short term memory so we’ll see how it goes.
