  1. Glad you got some good press here, Jon. You keep such an upbeat, positive attitude. And you’re a natty dresser! 🖒

  2. I like the way Jon is making jazz great again– and transforming the residue of MAGA hat hate into beautiful music. And, boy, what a sweet and beautiful song he sings! Thank you, Jon!

  3. “Celestial Jazz” – I’m a professional jazz musician myself (not in his league though) … I know what he means by that.

I’m pleased he’s so successful … I’m sure he won’t be sending Colbert an e-mail that says “can’t make it tonight – got a gig in Boston, pays $150 – can’t turn it down, sorry” any time soon 🙂
[my gig on Sunday is roughly $150 – lol]

Love his work on Colbert (especially the impro) – I like spotting the quotes he uses; some of them would only be familiar to ardent jazz fans.

  4. Batiste dropping some heavy gems here.

It’s my first time seeing him off Colbert’s show, and I’m pleasantly surprised.

  5. Luv, luv, luv Jon Baptiste !! A person I’d like to watch play his New Orleans sounds for hours ! (and days!)

  6. OMG this is phenomenal! I have always been so blessed to hear Jon on Colbert – he is even more a blessing in real time – love his energy beyond words, so I’ll end in THANK YOU,JON!

  7. Jon Batiste is the essence of the America we love.
He is intelligent, funny, creative, and has integrity and grace.

  8. Ari and Jon, two of my faves! 😘😘
    On the same show?! 🤩🤩
    I’m buying a lottery ticket tonight. 😎

  9. Thank you Ari for this positive interview, we all need Jon Baptiste’s must mindset. And you too were great.
