“If there is no struggle there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightening. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters.”

“This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”
    – Frederick Douglass

  2. Literally everything he said, is what the Republicans are actually doing.

  3. Why does Collins sound like an angry slave auctioneer whose auction just got cancelled?

    • @annaisabella100 actually yesterday’s Dixiecrats are today’s Republicans. Goofy types like Roy Moore of Alabama, Mitch McConnell and so many others who are still fighting the Civil War.

    • He’s looking around for black people to sell.

    • @cyanleopard if you and anaisabella100 are gonna be hanging each other get a room and stop involving the rest of us in y’alls weird (and truly pointless) back and forth

  4. Collins thinks he’s gonna get the Secretary of State job!! MAAAGAAA!!! AAAAGHHHAHH!!

  5. So the party that sat on a Supreme Court nominee for nearly a year, because as the majority, they could, is NOW griping about THIS and accusing the Democrats of ‘playing games’? What hypocritical drama queens.

    • They should seek asylum in the Ukraine. I mean an insane asylum.

    • @Dave Schultz Yes.. absolutely no process… chaos is their middle name as opposed to the WH that is being run so smoothly and efficiently !

    • @Dave Schultz Interesting you bring up chaos. Did you SEE the barrage of procedural interruptions by the GOP as this thing got started? THAT was sowing chaos. Did you SEE the spoiled frat boy pizza party during the meetings in the SKIF? GOP members who were allowed in the session nevertheless crashed the session to protest not being allowed in???
What was THAT, if now chaos as a leadership model?

Come on. What is it REALLY that you stand for here, aside from backing ‘your guys’ no matter what they do?
I’d wager that you cannot come up with one single principle by which you would accuse the democrats that the GOP hasn’t also flagrantly violated.

I will concede only, that two wrongs don’t make a right and some of the GOP critique may be appropriate and could be palatable and viable if coming from ANYBODY else. But, when Matt Gaetz (with his multiple DUI’s and daddy’s corrupt intervention to keep him out of jail) uses his time only to accuse Hunter Biden of corruption, because of substance abuse problems – that only reinforces the practical necessity of the Democrats limiting GOP participation.

When given the opportunity to participate, they abuse it and make a mockery of the process.

So, like when the kid who won’t stop throwing his pudding at the wall, doesn’t get to keep his pudding, the GOP has lost their opportunity for participation. They don’t deserve it.

    • @Joe Simoneau I agree with who the Trump supporters are. I’d only add that they are, to the last one, religious FOX viewers and as such are among the most poorly informed members of the electorate.

I’ve seen comments recently asserting that Obama cost us 50 million jobs, that the economy didn’t improve, at all, until Trump was elected, that Obama SPENT 20 Trillion dollars, that Obama used government spending to buy job growth, and of course the most commonly repeated lie, that the corrupt prosecutor in Ukraine was stopped from investigating Hunter Biden. In fact, there WAS NO investigation of Burisma until after Shokin was fired, and the only people who believe otherwise are all reciting the same, baseless talking point that appears to have originated with……
      Alexander Shokin.

Imagine that. A man fired for corruption inventing a narrative that blames others.

    • @Trent1007

It’s like this is all some kind of massive social experiment – keep lying and keep raising the level of hypocrisy and just see how far the villagers will follow your pied piper.

It’s astounding, honestly, the abruptness of the about-faces that the GOP loyalists will follow without objection.

For example, the GOP were OUTRAGED by Schiff’s prosecutorial paraphrasing of Trumps phone call, but have done far worse, repeatedly, in the questioning of witnesses and their factually liberated soliloquies attacking Joe Biden (who is not, in fact, on trial). There is no consistency of principle here – the only standard they DO follow, is the DOUBLE-standard.

Sask Sun seekers look in the mirrors

  7. The Capitol Hill janitors were called in to mop up the large puddle of water that was left on the floor where Collins was standing after he completely melted.

Why is he screaming??!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Nadler side swiped them
Integrity??? Funny coming from a Republican

  9. Considering the contempt the gop has shown, during these hearings, they have no right to complain about Chairperson Nadler closing the day’s session without considering their opinions.

    • Pretty sure that the problem Collins has with it. Like just because dems have the majority, doesn’t mean the minority shouldn’t have a say. Things like this will be taken into consideration when it goes to the senate.

  10. Collins is a joke at the expense of the rule of law, the congress, the constitution and ultimately democracy. A true traitor.

    • @Mike Winn Fortunately, the impeachment ‘articles’ will quickly find their way into the circular file cabinet as soon as they reach the Senate.

    • @Diana Hulstine actually it’s the socialist Left that are acting like Commies. Illegal investigations. War on Free Speech. Anti 2A.

    • Republicans can’t dispute simple things like why is Ghouliani acting like hes a govt official so they just shout, scream, whine and cry

    • shirley bethea | December 13, 2019 at 1:34 PM | Reply

@Dave Schultz F trump and his base. They are traitors to this Country.

  11. What a little wuss.

Oh please, they pull this all the time when trying to slip ghoulish legislation past the public.

  13. This dude always makes up words. Rumshoting ?

  14. That was hilarious.

  15. Lol awe..Collins I guess had some theatrics he didn’t get to do today. Guess he needs to wait overnight. Poor baby

  16. When you have no ethics, come out & act just like Collins. Collins still thinks he runs the show, you lost, stop having your tantrums.

  17. So basically they’re upset that they must work on Friyay!

  18. Says the man crying TO THE CAMERA

  19. He accuses the Democrats of playing to the cameras while playing to the cameras.

    • Ade King One thing you can be certain of, whatever the GOP is accusing someone of doing, it’s total projection. Take all Democrats babies, and then cry because they have to come in tomorrow to do their job. #VoteOutGOP

    • @Margo Romero I wish they were more self aware. True words.
