Cataract and intraocular lens exchange surgeries are insured under OHIP . OHIP coverage includes the lens that the patient’s physician determines is medically necessary for the individual patient at the time of the surgery.
Well I suppose it’s some kind of PR for the premiere, however there’s only so many staff , doctors and nurses, to go around. So how does this really change the problem?
Pay nurses what they deserve. Make it easier for doctors from other countries to work in Canada.

Test done for public health was unaware for 6 years that I was slowly dying. I’m surprised I’m still alive. BLESSINGS 🇨🇦 🙌. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE EVERYWHERE.

You don’t need privatization . You need more Healthcare professionals. We built hospitals we can build more clinics. Buisness will snatch every last hospital worker then can buy and then charge you for the privilege . There will be less care from Hospitals and more privatized care at a higher cost

We should have both private and public health care and have them compete with each other just like Singapore. The best health care system in the world.
