There were more than 6,490 confirmed cases in the U.S. as of early Wednesday, according to the Johns Hopkins University data dashboard. One week ago, the U.S. death toll had climbed to 33, the number of U.S. cases rolled past 1,300 and federal health officials said the virus has spread to at least 38 states.

@Tavis Shuler I can see that as a public issue. But, the U.S. Intelligence agencies would have known. The people in charge just didn’t act on that information.
Every country in the world underestimated this virus and is now paying the price. A few irresponsible people are still flying and spreading the disease to as many as possible.

The Chinese government were silencing doctors and others in China when they tried to get the word out .. that’s why no one knew until infected Chinese people started traveling for Christmas holidays and the Chinese people had no clue of the true problems that was going on so this is the China government needs to be held accountable for this to their citizens and to all the world’s citizens… they should have to pay all people they get infected from this a million dollars and thats should be given to the Chinese people that have been affected from this too … no the people of this country r not to blame bc their government is corrupt and silenced them from speaking out so there government needs to be held accountable… r world is now on hold bc they r countries like China where there citizens have no rights to speak out raise awareness to emergencies they need to be addressed but bc of these countries now we have a world in termal!!!! Japanese flu drug has proven to be effective in treating the coronavirus in early trials, according to reports Wednesday.
Medical authorities in China said they tested the antiviral drug favipiravir on 340 patients and found it reduces recovery time and improves lung condition of patients, according to the Guardian.
Infected patients who were given the drug in Wuhan and Shenzhen tested negative for the virus after a median of four days, compared with a median of 11 days for those who were not treated with the drug, the outlet reported, citing public broadcaster NHK.

Someone tell Orange Mongo that the US has already climbed the infamous “coronavirus ladder” to 6th place in just 6 days. The virus spreads at incredible speed being a tiny 80nM molecular lever organism that survives for hours on any surface exposed to the public. Many infected people just feel a mild flu or simply a cold or nothing at all…but spread it around anywhere they go. This way the virus quickly and silently lurks everywhere…then suddenly your mother or your grandpa (4 days average incubation) develops high fever and coughs in a matter of 40-50 minutes (usually in the afternoon) and by the next day has severe breathing problems and needs to be hooked to the machines in a hospital or die.
