  1. I would also think that companies saving rent could use that money towards either salaries or benefits….

    1. I would also think that if you ran these companies they would all go bankrupt and have to fire all their employees.

    2. Seema like an excuse to cut workers’ benefits. Working from home increases costs too( saves on gas, increases hydro, internet, etc..

  2. Wait, work from home and use your power, your computer, and your internet bandwidth( that your ISP could charge you for running a company on a home service), you would need a space that was setup for doing what you do in your home, and now there going to pay you less??? I know that I would not have to go to some were else to work but that is not going to make it cheep for the worker to set up and keep running. I would think that working from home the employer would have to foot the bill to set up and pay the added hydro and other bills that would change because of working from home. If they told me they were going to have me work from home and cut my pay I would tell them to look for someone dumber then I am.

    1. No change would be fine. You don’t pay gas or parking (or transit). You don’t waste time in your day getting to and from work. I do not think they should pay you less for all the reasons previously mentioned.

  3. Of course it will. The corporate buildings will be empty. They still have to pay taxes on the property. Oh wait they can write that off as a loss. And probably make more than when they were full. No more repair costs. Let the towers crumble. Turn the city into the cesspool i have always seen it as. Most office jobs are non essential anyway. I see the shred trucks outside those places of buisness. And oh yeah. Covid being as deadly as everyone fears is a lie . Just like blm and antifa.

  4. at home workers should be given an increase in pay for providing their own office at HOME and the Corporation does not have to pay for an office building with all the expenses, GIVE IT BACK TO YOUR EMPLOYEES !!!!!!!
