  1. People must realize having a huge crown is not a good idea this is a 100-year pandemic caused by Trump’s incompetency If trump acted like a leader the pandemic would have been contained so this problem is all on Trump!

@Dave Schultz you are arguing with the absolute dumbest people in society. they believe masks work, but all stores and schools cant be open, even though they believe masks work.
      worthless argument bro.

    • @Nano Exactly!! Him and his supporters are so dumb that they believe just banning Chinese natinonals saved so many lives.
Is he aware that there are very few people from China entering the US without a GC or a US passport?
China is not under ESTA (tourists can stay up to 90 days without a visa) and getting approved for a tourist visa could take up to 6 months I hear.
Plus it wss around lunar new year.
I don’t think there were many non US resident Chinese people coming to the US at that time anyway.

@David Eby The “ban” was a move to gain some leverage in his trade war with China and not for our health. 10’s of 1,000’s of people continued to fly here after the ban. Trump did not screen or quarantine them. His constant actions to downplay the seriousness of the virus after his “ban” also show he was not worried about our safety. Trump was also advised to shut down flights from Europe early on which he refused to do because he was more worried about the stock market than our health. Most of the infection in the US is directly tied to European travel. Trump has been a dismal failure on this pandemic. Even by his own measure he has failed, 15 soon down to zero, we’re still going to lose between 50 and 60,000, if we keep it under 100,000 deaths we’ve done a good job, etc. Even after repeatedly moving his own the goal post he still fails. How do you not see that?

    • @Nano Those people were citizens and quarantined .

@Richard Thomas do you live in Milwaukee?

  2. very well said, ty mr brewster and mr todd. they are understandably upset, but to risk the lives of their citizens and of delegates would be downright criminal.

  3. South Korea Australia Taiwan Hong Kong Greece big populations with minimal Covid19 deaths, most under 300. 140,000 dead Americans and climbing rapidly. Trump is a screaming failure.

    • The morons who refuse to wear a mask follow their god Trump is the cause

    • @Lucie Mayer No it isn’t. There are people on both sides who are not following the guidelines.

    • @Tylorian Fine people on both sides, right?
No, trump did this. He owns it. There’s no other explanation. It would not have happened under *any other* president even if that person was Andy Griffith or Barney Fife

  4. Covid dude Stay safe guys, weak mask

  5. Democrats: Changing their Convention to keep the health risks low, also pushing for more aid to small businesses.
republicans: Trying to find a way to ignore the health risks because t’rump’s fragile ego can’t take another Tulsa disappointment.

  6. Trump’s campaign manager is a felon.
His deputy campaign manager is a felon.
His national security advisor is a felon.
His foreign policy advisor is a felon.
His personal lawyer is a felon.
His long time advisor is a felon.
    It’s not a campaign, it’s a criminal enterprise. — The Lincoln Project

  7. Right now…if you can do it virtual, that is what you must do….lives are on the line NO LARGE GATHERINGS!!!!!!!!! Throw a major celebration there when things have eased up and Biden is President.

The economy will rise again. The dead will not.

  13. We Do know we won’t be responsible for unnecessary illness and death. Sad for what might be missed, but much happier for the lives protected. Really think THAT should be the takeaway.

No delegates have to attend because of COVI-19. There are no meet and greets, no special groups, and no parties. We are smart enough to stay safe.

@Tylorian Stop projecting Donald Trump’s deficiencies onto Joe Biden. That doesn’t work anymore.

    • Tylorian lol I think you meant Trumps cognitive decline. What is your expertise is dementia. Tell me what is Biden’s MMSE, MOCA and Cognistat scores. I worked 30 with people in the community with dementia and I don’t see what you are saying.

  19. It was smart for the Democrats to hold a virtual convention vs. a death petri dish convention like the Republicons.

  20. Ownership Class: we not get business
Actual workers: At least we get to live.
