Where is the science or medical research to support wearing a mask?
@Greg H You mean like on the World Health Organizations website the other month when they said Face Masks don’t help? Oh, but they changed their mind without explaining why or providing any evidence that they actually help against Covid.
@Greg H Just to be very clear, the science is that masks do not help prevent you from getting Covid. They help prevent you from spreading it. Not because the mask filters out Covid, but because it will trap and capture moisture as it leaves your mouth. You still spread it though, you’re just not coughing moisture at high speeds anymore– but being in the same room as that person? Well, according to the science the mask wouldn’t really help all that much.
Feel free to provide evidence of the contrary.
And one last time for everyone, just to be very clear– the science on “masks” is that they’re as effective as a plain piece of cloth over your face. The only thing they do is capture moisture as it leaves your mouth. It does not stop Covid. It does not filter Covid out. Period. End of story. Covid is much smaller than the filter on cheap disposable face masks.
