Republican incumbent Brian Kemp won the race for Georgia governor, defeating Democratic candidate and now two-time opponent Stacey Abrams, according to NBC and ABC News.

The two faced off once before back in 2018, with Kemp narrowly claiming victory after a runoff election. This gubernatorial contest has been one of the most closely watched this midterm cycle as both candidates are major players in their parties.

Kemp's advantage over Abrams was so impressive – approximately 300,000 votes – that she conceded early, with hundreds of thousands of votes remaining to be counted in Democratic strongholds such as Fulton, Dekalb, Bibb and Chatham counties. "The reports of my political demise have been greatly exaggerated," Kemp said during his victory speech.

    1. @Jackie Many people believe Ed McMahon used to give out big checks for Publisher’s Clearinghouse. But it never happened.

    1. You know the drill… Voter Suppression even though there was record turnout; racism, sexism, ageism, blah blah blah

    2. Umm because Gov kemp and his wealthy allies put voting restrictions up to make sure another vote would not end up going the wrong way. Do your research ❀

  1. Stacy, all I can say is 🀣🀣🀣🀣 Play that Race Card again….🀣🀣🀣

  2. Can’t wait for that mammy for the Democratic Party to blame the Black man for her losing. Praise the Lord πŸ™ŒπŸΎ

  3. Good job Georgia. You didn’t let a person who doesn’t even take care of her body, lead you. She had disdain for family and the unborn because she is a weirdo.

  4. She thought she was entitled to the votes of black men in her state, so she attacked them instead of speaking on issues that promoted them & therefore she lost🀣🀣

  5. I am so so glad she did not win I’m so glad she’s not a Georgia and she don’t know what George is about she got into this race for one reason to make herself look good so I’m glad she did not win I’m so very happy
