I think they probably first time heard about wuhan lab rumor from a Chinese YouTuber. The YouTuber claimed he received this information from a insider on Twitter. However, he apologized for his reporting later, cuz he found the “insider” was just a high school kid who was just trying to make some fun on the Internet. As far as the virus goes, It would be like discovering a new breed of cat but nobody would know for sure it it’s “man made” or natural. For anyone to say it’s not man made is no more credible than anyone who says it is. The REAL truth is nobody knows UNLESS it was man made in which case only a select few would know that. Is there typically a ® or a ™ stamped on the virus? How would anyone know if it’s man made or not? What we do know is that Covid-19 has never been seen before in beast nor human, and the most likely suspect based on his historical track record is MAN MADE.

However, there is credible evidence that the virus passed from a bat to a pangolin, pointing towards the markets again because a lab which studies disease is aware that repeated contact between multiple species increases the likelihood that a virus can make that jump. Furthermore, the Scripps Institute “found no evidence that the virus was made in a laboratory or otherwise engineered” which I don’t believe was your claim, but dispels the possible notion that the virus was developed in a lab purposefully or otherwise and increases the likelihood that it was due to wildlife exposure.
Personally and due to actual sources, I don’t find that the virus has anything to do with the laboratory whatsoever.
