Destroying this famous national park may be the best chance these refugees have

Virunga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, is the latest victim of a bitter conflict between rebel militias and the Congolese military. The rebels have taken over strategic towns, forcing thousands of people to escape. Now, some of those refugees have entered the park to cut down trees to survive. CNN's Michael Holmes explains. #CNN #News

    1. @Jason Drummond What do you think they do with the charcoal dude? That’s what they burn to keep warm. Besides I’m pretty sure the people who live with them know to protect them.

    2. @Truth Ache Just watch the video – it STATES that the people sell the charcoal. It is used as cooking fuel by the people who buy it. The mean annual temperature in DRC is 24 C – which is a hot summer day.

    1. Good! After all the evil things we have done to Mother Earth & her Animal children, we deserve it! We have reached our zenith as a species. No way but down from now on. I have zero issue with our pending demise. About damned time! 🧐

  1. So much suffering in many parts of the world. Sometimes we have to realize how lucky many of us are having a great comfort and peace of mind

    1. @Cajek it was pretty damn good when trump was president. Than the liberals took over. Now look at us. Pathetic!

    1. Over population dooming the eco system, Hawking Quote- Human civilisation will be finished by 2100 because of human stupidly and greed. He will not be wrong.

  2. 🤯Human’s are killing this EARTH!!!!! Take care of our WORLD No Matter where u are FROM 💯😍♥️🤟👍

    1. @nenasiek My comment went far beyond your spelling. Your cavalier dismissal of the plight of the refugees is contemptable.
I didn’t mean to push all your buttons. I was looking for “Mute.”

    2. @Construimus Batuimus theres 8 billion of us, the planet cant substain that many and keep eco systems intact.
On the individuall side its horrible but the bigger picture is clear, even tho its cruel.

  3. This is horrible. So much pain, suffering, and war has plagued this region of the world. I wonder if the UN is able to intervene with humanitarian aid. There is conflict, war, strife, and suffering across much of our planet. A lot of attention is put on Ukraine right now (very understandably of course), but we all need to remember places like this and areas of South-East Asia and the Middle East where things like are a fact of life, not an aberration.

    1. The last thing they need is the UN sticking its dirty nose in. They can’t seem to help themselves with hurting African nations.

  4. And then we’re wondering why Mother Nature is mad at us humans beings we are the worst ANIMALS ON EARTH! Greed n corruption is going to destroy us all! God help us 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

  5. Refugees pi*s me off. Always in the way when we’re trying to get our armor 🙄 through 🤪😎.

  6. thank you Belgium, the definition of “NO RESPONSIBILITY”!, it’s a complete joke thet the EU whatever is located in f belgium! after a century of closeted SHAME!

  7. There was so much suffering in this world in all shapes and sizes how can we as human beings cope with the downfall of our societies🤔

  8. Intriguing, i always knew there was more to life and i have also been looking for a way to find not only protection but a way to be influential to the human society.

    1. oh well you can achieve that by being a part of the illuminatus brotherhood, i know it sounds like a mystery but there are ways you can actually get in contact with them.

    2. @Rose Allen well it is not and you can’t actually expect it to be open to everyone, but if you want to know more you can look up Wilford Robert Taylor online you will find something interesting.
