Well, If Gen. Colin Powell were still with us, He’d probably remind Cheney about how operation Desert Storm got started with that infamous United Nations speech that originated from being [let’s just say] “Blindsided” by Cheney and Tommy Franks’ pack of lies.
Oh so you know for a fact the intelligence we had and Tony Blair of the UK was a lie? Powell and company knew all the same intelligence Bush, Chaney, and others were dealing with at the time. Chaney also was very good Secretary of Defense if I recall with Desert Storm in 1991? That whole mission went brilliantly!
@FA Q I’m glad you truly believe Bush & Chaney would actually send our young men & women into harms way to score points. I don’t believe this at all. Bush still to this day writes handwritten notes to the families and veterans. Also, has visited Walter Reed to see them in their recovery. By the way Obama sent out formed letters to families and veterans in most cases. Bush is in a different generation than Obama and grew up with a father from the greatest generation as I was and the outlook about the world and about military is very different.
You know what’s cowardly? Lying your way into an unnecessary war that other people will have to fight.
