  1. And the news just flashed in Michigan that don jr has tested positive. Old News or New —- so worried about Michigan and Gov Whitmer and the baloney in the oval today == stayed away from the news.

    1. How silly to be glad that a very expensive vaccine has been developed to conquer a disease that does not exist. Oh wait…

    1. @Alex Mitchell Well? Was all Soviet Science bad? Of course not. Even during the Cold War Soviet scientists collaborated with the West. Does the US medical system have serious problems? Of course. No system is perfect, but that doesn’t excuse catastrophic dysfunction either. The general problem in America is that since the early 70’s the economic elite have usurped politics and democracy. Use your powers of discernment.

    2. @Alex Mitchell I’ve already answered your question Andrea. Again, Trump is not to be trusted. But lowering the bar shouldn’t be used as a pretext to gloss over existing structural problems and omissions. That’s how we got here in the first place.

  2. t’rump supporters: “We don’t trust scientists! They’re part of the deep state!!”
America: “So, who do you trust?”
    t’rump supporters: “t’rump!!”
America: **hands over a bleach injection**
    t’rump supporters: **gulp** 🥵

  3. Trump told Woodward in March, was part of a strategy to deliberately minimize the danger. “I wanted to always play it down,” the president said. “I still like playing it down because I don’t want to create a panic.”

  4. If trump is going to continue his banter I guess his peeps will have to foot the bill, send those dollars in folks, trump is broke.

    1. I keep getting phone calls from trumpers asking for money. They should be fundraising for Americans who are getting evicted, people who need food and coats for their kids.

  5. Breaking as many laws on the way out…..he relishes the pain he has caused and the death and destruction makes him feel good.

    1. 50 years ago I was16 at Harvard as an or Tech trainee ,I was told Quit ,Don’t do their medications and keep in shape ,I did and at 66 lifted weights today ,America Didn’t !!!from W.Hunting …How do you like those Apples ???

  6. Oh, people got the message back in March already. It’s Trump and his administration that didn’t want to implement the message. These are the consequences of that. Welcome to Trump’s madness!

  7. Trump is opposed to science and he’ll take all the credit for a vaccine. All it would have taken to save the lives of thousands of Americans would have been for him to Wear A Mask

  8. Trump doesn’t want to pay attention to science for policy but he’s tickled pink to receive the most scientifically-advanced Covid-19 treatments available.

    1. Darn, that’s straight. And, he and his billionaire buddies will be happy to receive their dividends from vaccine investments. Conservatives have pushed anti-science/anti-intellectualism for quite a while now, for various reasons. I think Donald is as dumb as a post, he has “advisors” whispering sweet nothings in his ears. Steve Bannon one of the top ones, it serves the chaos that is killing our country.

    2. @Christine King Yep. Trump is a sideshow that captivates the audience while Bannon and others call the shots and direct the action from the shadows. Trump has been slowly destroying the civil service ranks and many other areas of government which is exactly what Bannon has aspired to do.

    3. @Andrew Brent Yes. I guess I’m naive, but why? McConnell I understand, even Stephen Miller. Is Bannon simply evil, a word I seldom use. He has been trotting his chaos around Europe, it’s worked, what is in it for him, money? If you have any reading to suggest, I would appreciate it. And, stay safe, stay healthy this Thanksgiving.

    4. @Christine King It’s going to be an atypical Turkey Day. Totally sucks given it’s my favorite holiday. As for Bannon, I don’t know enough about him to make an accurate assessment. A guess from what I’ve seen is that Christian Nationalism along with Russian money is driving a lot of this.

    5. @Andrew Brent Ok, thanks. Yeah Christian Nationalism rings a bell:-( My son wants to cook a small dinner, I’ve told him we just need to go for a nice walk if the weather’s decent here in Montana.

  9. Trump said scientist don’t know. Now he says scientist know because of the vaccine. Trump such a pancake. They need to flip him right to prison.

  10. This virus is all on Trump and the Republicans, America will not forget this, Republicans want him for a 2nd term, WOW, That’s crazy.

    1. The media’s the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that’s power. Because they control the minds of the masses. The press is so powerful in its image-making role, it can make the criminal look like he’s a the victim and make the victim look like he’s the criminal. This is the press, an irresponsible press. It will make the criminal look like he’s the victim and make the victim look like he’s the criminal. If you aren’t careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.― Malcom X

  11. Republicans are wrong on pretty much everything that involves science, they’d rather believe a grifter like Trump.

  12. Science is above trumps mentality, I’m not saying he’s not smart but his intelligence is criminal. He has no critical thinking skills at all.

  13. trump knows more than scientists doctors lawyers generals has the best reading comprehension of anybody in the world i heard him say so how can it not be true? don’t tell me he lies ! HIEL TRUMP

  14. This country is a mess. All on his watch, major disrespect from one American to another thanks to him, confusion, anxiety, chaos, lies, bullying, and now trying to literally steal an election after lying about Covid for a year. What is wrong with the 72 million people who are so locked into their minds that they cannot see this?
