Economist: ‘Tough times’ ahead for Canada in 2023 | Bank of Canada hikes key interest rate #shorts

The Bank of Canada has raised its overnight rate by 50 basis points to 4.25 per cent, marking its seventh rate hike in nine months. The last time the bank’s policy rate was this high was in January 2008.

  1. What she really means to say is “I thought it was only going to affect you, however, it turns out it’s going to affect me too”

  2. Why do they write “per cent” when it’s actually spelled “percent”. It’s so sad they get paid more than me and can’t even spell in their description.

  3. You will find Canadians are feeling it now, government has no sense of direction, they have lost fiscal control.
