End of the road for the Beetle as Volkswagen ends production

Volkswagen is halting production of the last version of its Beetle model this week at its plant in Puebla, Mexico. It's the end of the road for a vehicle that has symbolized many things over a history spanning eight decades since 1938.

  1. I’m gonna miss the Beetle. 🙁 i hope more Beetles come in the future and for Forza games as well.

  2. Last rear engine BEETLE was produced in 2003. What they are discussing here is the end of FWD “NEW BEETLE” production.

  3. …the end of Beetle production already happened 16 years ago in Mexico…you know, real Beetles…rear engine, air cooled, rear wheel drive…..didn’t care for the “New Beetle”, anyhow……
