CNN legal analyst Elie Honig breaks down the legal challenges Trump will face.

  1. Yes yes yes but when? Is every Prosecutor awaiting someone else to indict first? Sure seems like it. Beyond frustrating.

    1. @carl van meerbeek
What charity are you talking about? I’d like to look into that before I confront him about it.
I can’t guarantee you a response tonight. I didn’t sleep last night and I don’t think I slept the night before. I can’t hardly see
But hopefully I’ll see your comment

    2. @Glenda Langley are you on Ginnie Thomas’s email distribution list? Not one word of her spewing was actually a true fact.

    3. When *trump smelled burning pork in his apartment, he thought he burned himself. *lower case intended

  2. Executive privilege is for the current executive. How about future executives? Have to draw the line otherwise it means nothing at all. Treat them the same. Future leaders and past leaders. Fry Trump and Pence in the same pan.

    1. @dave mitchell Nah, that was Green saying she wanted to divorce red from blue areas. Try again, honey.

    1. Not all Republicans! I voted for Trump twice. Not a third time. The Constitution and Executive Branch means more to me than Trump.

    1. @Not Entirely Apathetic It seems problematic to release unvetted security footage straight to the next coup planners unless that’s the idea. Should the footage at least be vetted? Also, what are your thoughts about Pence’s family and detail freaking out about their safety on Jan 6? Did you see and hear that footage?

  3. Trump never saw a penny on the sidewalk that he wasn’t willing to knock over an old lady to get at.

  4. Trump Friends and Family Cleared for Millions in Small Business Bailout
Beneficiaries of the PPP included a lettuce farming venture backed by Trump’s son, Kushner companies, and a dentist who golfs with the president. The figures were released after a lawsuit by several news organizations, including ProPublica.

  5. If Donald had put as much effort into taking COVID seriously as he has with trying to avoid prison, he’d still be our President rn

  6. It is difficult to get the courts to rule in favor of the MAGA, when they don’t have the law on their side. Or the facts. Or truth. Or reality. Or basic common sense.

    1. @Jacova Wernett he does have an interesting take on evolution and brain development being caused by the needs of Man to act collectively. Too woke I imagine to be discussed at Florida schools.

  7. If the Republican party had not given them a home, these are the people screaming in the grocery store parking lot that we would walk by shaking our heads and thinking “How Sad”

  8. trump had a policy??? This is sarcasm, but to the point, the only “policy” trump seemed to energize was and is, “Me,Me, Me, and screw anybody else”

  9. Isn’t it rich that the vice president and previous president of the United States don’t want to tell the truth🤯

    1. Repent. Believe in Jesus and be born again. John 3:16 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Matthew 4:17 KJV From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
John 3:3 KJV – “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

    2. @Jeremy DeCaro My mother is 76 years old, being born again will kill her and she will never survive the contractions. 😁👍

  10. We are ALWAYS in the thick of a reelection campaign in this country, so it’s no reason to keep from indicting Trump or anyone else

    1. You are so right about that. It never ends! I have to think that we and the news media are part of this problem. 24 hours a day, pundits are commenting about every little thing and politicians are happy to feed them. And yet, here we are, listening to all this crap and thinking it makes a difference if we are informed. Sorry for the rant!

  11. Here we had so much hope that Jack Smith was the man for the job, and he is, except for the fact that MG waited way too long. After hearing this, I feel that black cloud starting to cover up justice again:(

    1. That should have been evident when Garland missed multiple opportunities to put this to rest. Rotten system.

  12. For someone who says he’s got nothing to hide, Trump sure works hard at not being open and transparent.

  13. They both took an oath to America. These “ innocent” men don’t want to testify to America? Smells like guilt, guilt, guilt. Lock them up!

    1. We don’t need to dance around their guilt. We are way past smelling something rotten. The proof has been there for nearly two years. Very sad.
