  1. The relevant constitutional provision is Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, enacted in the aftermath of the Civil War. The provision bars a person from holding any office “under the United States” if the person has sworn an oath of allegiance to the Constitution and then “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the government or “given aid to the enemies” of the U.S.

This provision was created specifically for people like Trump.

    2. @Mitch Mcconnell I don’t know why you’re so upset if you think he’s innocent, he’ll get his day in court with a jury of his peers.

    1. @Elizabeth Stanley how is it informed to suggest our kids are being indoctrinated in schools? How is it informed to say our police are being disregarded or defunded? How can he “ not stand” a democrat when he assumes somehow they want something that isn’t even true?

    2. @Friar Brandon Wow, you sure have a lot to say. Sadly there’s no real substance in that tome of verbiage. However, you’ve done a great job of mixing fact with fiction that’s why people who think as childish and narrowly as you are so dangerous. Poison isn’t dangerous when it’s clearly marked as such, it becomes really dangerous when mixed in with foods we love.
You should just go back to the couch and listen for another year or tow while the adults do the talking.

  3. He invited
    He incited
    They rioted
    Then he denied it
    Even though he’d implied it
    Now he MUST be indicted!

    1. I keep hearing this argument, but no one ever seems to act on it. Is it really a thing or just something to say to keep stringing people along, hoping, in vain, for justice?

    1. Yes, but will he introduce his wife to Vicktor Orban at CPAC????? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    1. @Doug Miller but yet you say nothing about the Secret Service in the Department of Defense deleting text

  4. No one not even the President of the USA should not have executive privilege when they have done a criminal act.

    1. @Turbobaby5000 Yup, yeah that’s kinda cool. Cool and expected. Another thing, and I hope you remember this next bit,( because we do remember important bits in our lives, ) is that you grow up and learn actual things. take care beautiful person.

  5. Trump is finished, he may not live long enough to appreciate the gravity of this. Either way, it’s fine with me.

    1. Not always. Well only when you left office and told that you can no longer use it yeah you are correct.

    2. Most All Privaledge involves someone getting shafted. Gods I hope that other commenters isn’t the Author.

  6. Any president who attempts to overthrow the government has lost his executive privilege, and needs to be held accountable.

    1. @Anna Jorgensen Absolutely. They showed us who they are so now how are we going to show them what we are going to do about I f

    2. You would think! This circus has got to end with everyone back in the clown car and off to prison. Mesa, AZ August 7, 2022

    1. @DAMON MARCUS Court already ruled that only one executive at one time. Biden is in the White House and him alone can say if it is or is not privilege.

    1. @DAMON MARCUS we know you. Look out the kitchen window. You see that red car sitting across from you? Yep.

  7. “He was acting as a candidate and not an Executive”. Sums up Trump’s four years in the White House pretty well.

  8. I Honestly don’t understand how anyone can still be asking as to whether someone who committed treason can still claim executive privilege?
The rules of the presidency has to change. and the death penalty has to be restored for treason.
