It is obviously, that President Granger and the APNU, knows that they lost the election since 5th March, 2020. But they are playing hardball because they want to force the PPPC into power sharing. They want to force the PPPc into a negotiated settlement. The big question is why should the PPPc agree to do that. I don’t know the answer to that million dollars question. Because I have mixed emotions about power sharing because I want Guyana to continue to have election every 5 years. If we have power sharing in Guyana, does that means that we would stop having election every 5 years. That really bothers me. Because elections every 5 years is important for democracy. If, Guyanese people doesn’t like what politicians or political party in power is doing they will get a chance to kick them out of power every 5 years. So I am against power sharing for that main reason.
The settlement should be power sharing for a period of 3 years just to reform these laws that we are having alot of conflict with ,then two years after call a fresh election.

Jay Boy, that is a possibility. That could work. We want hear more ideas like that. But don’t we have reward the PPPC for agreeing to something like that.? How about if they allow the PPPC to take office, with the agreement that after their term finished in 2025, they will be power sharing 3 years, then they have fresh election in 2030.

The talk of power sharing is premature at this time. The PNC must accept the will of the people and abide by all treaties and agreements they are signatories to. When this is done,( if it’s ever done) only then should talk of “shared governance” be entertained.
Clearly there is only one winner here and it’s the PPP

I’m sure the CCJ has already indicated that the recount figures should be used for the declaration of results. Why is it that almost everyone pro incumbent is selectively omitting that? If this court case reaches the CCJ again, Guyana will look even more foolish than it has already been demonstrated with it’s leader’s lack of basic arithmetic skills.
