    1. Same here, haven’t been on since 2015. Now they require PHOTO ID for an account creation. hahahah

  1. This is how behind our news outlets are….🤣🤣🤣
    Facebook died a decade ago….

    1. It’s also Google who mirrors news content without paying. It’s bigger than FB. Not saying I know the answer, but big tech is essentially profiting off journalists without paying them anything.

  2. How do we characterize and recognize news? Which internet-link will be punished by a fee?
What are content creator uploads in general? How much may entertainment reflect actual latest events without being identified as news?
And last but not least: What’s the required time gap? A day, one week, one month, one year?

    1. insights?=sure, but please don’t stop here=kinda the wrong crowd to be asking questions and expecting serious answers.

  3. That’s OK! I’ll just get my news from AOL (remember those free disks?) lol – all joking aside, if FB is using news to enhance its site and increase engagement, they MUST pay a fair price to the journalists and content creators. FB makes heaps from advertisers and that should be enough for Meta Mark.
