    1. @Jordan Cobb yeah it doesn’t work. It annihilates. It wipes out nations into the history books. When you see SARMAT coming just stand and tell your children, don’t worry kids it’s a Russian nuke it doesn’t work🤣😂🤣😂

    2. @Junel Rosales 8 months of fighting and the entire NATO cannot defeat Russia. 20 years of fighting and NATO were defeated in Afghanistan. Wooow. NATO what a powerful force🤣😂🤣😂

    3. @Dina F you cannot defeat goat herders in Afghanistan and you expect NATO to defeat Russia. Trust me if a war between NATO and Russia brokes out, you will not live to tell the story

    4. It wouldn’t last three hours let alone three days. It’s like taking your brand new Mustang GT 5.0 litre big block to the drag strip (nato) and being put up against some old rusted out Lada with no back seat and a Tupperware lid as one hub cap.

    5. @Fun in Ukraine
YOU are LOSERS…!!! You are an utter embarrassment in front of the World…!!!! You can’t take Ukraine with uneducated, drunk, filthy, unpaid, unfed – so called “soldier.” Bunch or Thugs, Rapist, and Thieves…….!!!!!!! Disgusting….!!!!!!

    1. @Alpha Omega ← Putin fanboy mad. Someone insulted his idol – and Russia itself. Now fanboy sad — and crying.
But nobody hears him. Nobody comes to comfort. He is stuck way deep down in his rabbit hole of BS, lies and conspiracies, out of ear reach of anybody sane.
His whole life is monitoring clips about his idol — and then vicariously trying to defend him. To deflect.
It’s all so very, very sad.

  1. I’ve talked with Russian university students via internet & actually like the kids . Just like kids in the states lots of teenage angst but unlike kids in the states they have to worry about what their government will do ..peeps are a lot alike all over the world ,Goberments aren’t.. we think ours is best .. some folks don’t know anything other than what they have .. Dont judge people by their governments.. judge the governments by their people ..

    1. 86% of Russians support the war, however of late, now, many families are being impacted by conscription, they are bleating like sheep. They are reaping what they sewed, I have little sympathy, having said that. I also have great admiration for the bravery of the Russians that have protested.

    2. @Howard Burnette Agree. Those few Russians who protest show great courage and suffer grave consequences. Those who don’t, whether due to fear, indifference, or outright support, all aid and abet a fascist state.

    3. *Chinese and Russian bots are using American social media to spread misinformation, and dissent through politics and existing issues within American people and make them hate each other and remain divided, stop giving into it.*

*Common themes: Fighting against both Democrats and Republicans to divide Americans, undermining democracy and freedom, making Americans lose faith in their own government and way of life, spreading misinformation, using the Ukraine war to divide Americans, Russian and Chinese dissent operations prey on existing issues and invest resources and money into funding both sides of an argument to pull Americans apart from each other. Think you’re arguing about politics to another American who doesn’t agree with you? 99% chance you’re speaking to a bot an office trying to make you undermine your political party, system and government.*

  2. Russia has been (mis)managed the same way since it was invaded by Mongols in 1200s. Mongols withdrew, evolved, learned new tricks, but Russia? Still the same mentality of “Just send more men in, that’s what they’re for”. THAT’S why they suffered such high losses during WW2. Not because of heroism but because they have never cared about ordinary people.
Bonus fact: most of the fighting, just as during WW2 and in Chechenia (probably Afghanistan, but good luck finding reliable data on that), is done by ethnic minorities.
Most Russian casualties are from Buryatia and Dagestan in Central Asia. Basically, they commit ethnic cleansing at home by sending their ethnic minorities to commit ethnic cleansing abroad.

    1. A Turkish family sued the German government because the German teacher at school told the Turkish kid to speak German at school. The family sued the government for millions of Euros. How come the Kurds can’t speak their own language in their own native land? We been there for 1000″s of years before the mongols showed up and now they’re forcing us out of our land and jailing us and killing us. How is this right? Turkey is bombing Iraqi And Syrian Kurdistan and killing innocent civilians everyday. Noone cares. Turkish government has taken my families land in Iraqi kurdistan and they have done the same in Syria. Noone is stopping them. Why is Turkey part of NATO? Makes you wander about the rest of NATO countries human rights.
Please watch Kurd talks to Turks, I bet you’ve never seen such racism anywhere.

    2. it makes sense in the context of a communist state, the whole idea was that the people are one collective working together to carry out the will of the state, the individual didnt matter and it was no different in war. that sort of mentality doesnt just disappear after almost a century of indoctrination, and it looks like its still happening in 2022

  3. Because of one man’s decision, so many have died.
    So many homes destroyed.
    So much hatred planted.
So much time, money and resources wasted.

    1. @ruud195 Afraid? I don’t just think, I KNOW Ukraine is going to win. I couldn’t be more confident.

    2. You have to be completely indoctrinated to believe this is the result of just Putin. Look up Victoria Nuland talking about turning Ukraine into a U.S. puppet government back in 2014. WAR is a RACKET!

  4. Support for Ukraine is direct fight against worst organized crimes, mass murder, gobal mafia structures – the world would be a much better place, if these criminal governments/figures in Russia, Iran, Syria, Belarus would be eliminated.

  5. And lets never forget that Ukraine gave up a huge amount of nuclear weapons on the West’s assurance that they would come to Ukraine’s defence.

    1. @President Elect Jeffrey Smith The Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic had almost half of them when the USSR broke up. They gave them to Russia.

    2. @President Elect Jeffrey Smith Sure had – at the time of relinquishing them, they had the third largest stockpile of nukes in the world.

    3. @Itera Putin should do what you just did to yourself. The two clauses above are stand-alone. Next you should read Putin’s 5000 word essay; it shows what he has been on about from the start – and not forgetting Crimea and 2014.

Hitler was greatly impressed about how STALIN had been able to kill so many Ukrainians in such a short time.

    4. @Itera Putin should do the same what you just did to yourself. The two clauses above are stand-alones. Next you should read Putin’s 5000 word essay to see what he’s been on about right from the start. And not forgeting Crimea and 2014.

HITLER was most impressed about how STALIN was able to kill so many in such a short time. Also, grain-shipments at the time of the that man-made famine to overseas markets were not orchestrated by local authorities of Ukraine, ALL the shots were called from Moscow.

  6. I would be very disappointed and ashamed if we, US, failed to maintain our support for Ukraine. I’d hate to think money had priority over our Moral Compass.

    1. @ian pearson Everyone and everything has morals. Though I agree that the US government morals are very low

    2. Same here from UK. We absolutely have to support Ukraine above all else. And as expensive as it is, if we let Putin take Ukraine, or whatever parts of it he decides are his, he won’t stop there. History shows time and time again you can’t appease these dictators. You meet them now or you meet them later.

    1. @Tommaso Turek they ran out of ammunition and medicines. But surrendering to the Russians is suicide as they don’t respect life or rules.

  7. Love General Hertling .. I live in Germany … Used to work in “Housing” on U.S. Army bases in Germany…. Ansbach, Bad Kissigen, Grafenwöhr/Vilseck, Würzburg , Erlangen, I did just a little little part helping G.I.’s move in and out of Germany ! NATO Will never bend to Russia !!

  8. I’m Czech, I’ve donated to crowded funded modernisation of T72 tank, in a campaign called “Gift for Putin” it’s heading to Ukraine now, the most modern T72, called Tomáš (after our first president Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk), it’s symbolic, since my country sent dozens of T72s to Ukraine, among other Soviet weapons, but Thomas got special treatment, I know it’s not HIMARS, but we do what we can to help Ukraine to defeat ruSSia, so many refugees in my country, our task is to help them, 90% plus are women and children and old people, all men stayed, it’s fight for survival of Ukrainian nation, Sláva Ukrajině 🇺🇦, accurate aim, good luck brothers, never give up, we send more!, from 🇨🇿

PS: Modernization in points(translation of Czech news site focused on technology)

The tank has increased ballistic protection. In the most vulnerable parts, it is covered with reactive armor, which significantly increases the tank’s protection against RPG missiles and HEAT ammunition. The reactive armor added to the tank is equivalent to 400 millimeters of rolled armor when hit by a warhead. In total, the tank is equipped with 196 boxes of reactive armor.

The tank has new optical-electronic devices and a modernized night vision block for all three crew members from the Czech company Opticstrade, which significantly improve night vision capabilities and resolution. It uses a laser rangefinder to increase the probability of hitting with the first round, an improved thermal sight with a ballistic computer, an upgraded commander’s sight and an upgraded driver’s sight. Night vision systems work fully in passive mode without the use of infrared lights. This means that the tank, unlike the original night vision system, does not risk revealing itself. Periscopic optical devices are equipped with anti-laser filters to protect the crew. “Replacing the optical-electronic systems increases the crew’s capabilities tenfold compared to the original equipment,” explains Excalibur Army Business Director Richard Kuběna.
The tank has significantly better mobility thanks to a modernized power pack with increased engine power to 840 hp and increased acceleration dynamics. The high-performance air-cooled twelve-cylinder V-84 engine increases mobility in the tank’s power-to-weight ratio. Thanks to this, the tank is faster, especially in difficult terrain.

The driver’s station has also been upgraded and features a new digital instrument panel from Excalibur Army. This shows information about the operational characteristics of the tank, such as speed, engine temperature or turret position.

The internal and external radio communication was also completely redesigned. A new intercom improves internal tank crew communication and a digital radio enables encrypted communication.

    Equipment

Tomáš is designed to destroy tanks and other armored targets, possibly live enemy forces, as well as against low-flying targets. A smooth-bore 125-millimeter cannon with an armor-piercing projectile can easily penetrate 50-centimeter-thick armor at a distance of over two kilometers.

The tank is also equipped with two secondary weapons: a mounted and an anti-aircraft machine gun. It also has a device for crossing watercourses by traveling underwater, a device for creating smoke screens for camouflage in the field, and a fire extinguisher for extinguishing fires inside the vehicle.

Tomáš underwent modernization at the Excalibur Army plant in Šternber. “The solution we provide meets the current requirements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in that we provide the T-72 tank, with which they have extensive experience in operating, and at the same time deliver a modernization package that appropriately and effectively increases its combat value and crew survivability when performing combat tasks,” adds business director Richard Kuběna.

Excalibur Army has delivered dozens of tanks to Ukraine since February this year. About half of these were fully modernized, the rest were overhauled T72 M1 tanks.

    1. A very complete rundown on the upgrades this special gift from the Czech people received. I wish it and its crew good hunting and a long life.

    2. @Itera I’m curious, do you ever read serious histories of the period or just comic books that feed your particular bias?

  9. Correction! He is NOT a general! He once was, he is now “Mr.” and nothing more. I am a retired officer and would never, ever use a rank I once had! Do your homework!!

  10. I remember what I read about the Berlin airlift. The Russians attempted to starve the people in Berlin of food, heating and electricity. The planes kept flying and the Berliners did what it took to get through the winter. And when spring arrived, Russia realized that the blockade did not work and lifted it.

    2. Berlin is a lot warmer than Kyiv though, having lived in both cities. A lot of ppl won’t survive without heating in Kyiv.

  11. People in the past survived harsh winters without the luxury of modern day technology like electricity, gasoline, or oil. American native Indians for example survived harsh winters. The people of Alaska likewise survived harsh weather conditions. So people can adapt and survive harsh winters with planning, like building up stocks of firewood etc.

    1. Newer places do not have wood burning fireplaces. Can you please tell me some examples of what they can do. Have you been in freezing weather for an extended period with no heat. I suppose they could do shelters.

  12. Love..Support and Best Wishes to the good people, warriors and the great leader of the Ukraine from us all in the UK …Please stay strong ….Karma is on its way to the enemies and their supporters wait and we will see

  13. Could l humbly present our gratitude and appreciation on behalf of European nations to such a smart, eloquent and decent general

  14. Ukraine is fighting for more than its sovereignty, it’s fighting for its SURVIVAL. SLAVI UKRAINI!! 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

  15. The U.S. and UK who stripped Ukraine of its nukes in 1994 (Budapest Memorandum) have an obligation to defend Ukraine’s independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity as they promised then. Russia, which is attacking Ukraine now, also signed on that deal, but now obviously violated its assurances.
