We’re fine… it’s going to be downgraded to a tropical storm by night
@Dozzy There is confusion in terminology. it will have stronger than tropical force winds. Fiona is expected to merge with a trough coming from the west and lose its tropical characterises but it will land with the same force as a strong cat 1 hurricane or a cat 2 hurricane. The system will be beyond NS and PE before it’s winds drop to tropical force winds.

There are 2 systems. One is a nor’easter, and the other, a very strong hurricane. The rain today was not from the hurricane as many thought.
