Sure, so they can continue to inconvenience rational law-abiding citizens.
But it wasn’t an emergency at that point. It’s only an emergency when it effects his polling numbers.
Ford has made a choice in announcing ramping up plans to pressure protesters to stop what they are doing rather than to pressure the sociopath Trudeau to stop what he is doing.

Now, if he had said “Ya, I took off 3 hours for a mental health break. Is that okay with you, Colin”? I would have a small amount of respect for Ford. I would still question how he feels safe enough to do so as he’s declaring a state of emergency. I’d love to see a politician give a simple yes or no answer, that would be newsworthy lol
