    1. @Bob Loblaw He’s feeding off the outrage because it makes his sad existence feel validated. Best way to deal with trolls is to deny them attention and let them crawl back to the holes they came from.

    1. @Gary Campbell That is the problem, ignorant people who not only believe trumps bullshit but wallow in it like pigs in slop. You want that lying orange cocksucker as president, I dont care, its just means you are as ignorant as I thought.Making trumps corruption ok because you dont like the libs proves what a sheep you are.

    2. Toni sumblin : No wonder Trump’s going to be re elected. Get off the coast and out of the big city and see what kind of reaction you get to all that.

    3. Christopher Schlacter : Still can’t face the fact that an awful lot of people do NOT want the democrat / liberal agenda they are seeing right now , can we ? THAT has NOTHING to do with Trump !! Get off the coasts and out of the big city and start listening to those people, or it WILL be 2016 all over again.

    1. @John Patrick What the F about the Nazis being far left?!?!
This has not just been debunked, this is just stating the earth is flat because “someone told you”… it’s a far right revisionist conspiracy presented as evidence to defend extreme right-nationalism legitimacy.
Nazis were everything a far right party would hope for and yes, they had social services at the service of their war effort, wealth was NEVER redistributed to people unless it served their warmonger and supremacist agenda. They did not provide healthcare because they cared about their population but because they were obsessed with the strength, purity and future domination of their race.
Your definition of socialism in this case is extremely wrong.

This was and still is an attempt to re-write history to present everything the way far right apologists wants to confuse others with, using convenient ideological nonsense to put all the negative aspects of governance on the left to claim legitimacy on their attempt to take over other’s rights while imposing theirs along with their world view.

The Nazis were initially focused on imposing their views and purity and for that they had to get rid of Jews and Socialist in Germany and across Europe. One of the reason historians explain why Hitler invaded Russia when he had no business there whatsoever. Also many Nazi documents were clear about the hatred of communists and socialists as the brown shirts were “cleaning” the streets of Jews and red flag socialists who were trying to grab power away from Nazis.

THEN, I never said that WWII Russians were far right. My example was about totalitarian regimes, and Russia right now is as right wing as it can be with multiple aspects linked to the far right’s intolerance and other related characteristics.

Then what the heck is that part about nationalization? Nobody argues for a total business takeover by the government. And by the way, it’s not theft. If you Nationalize the only or the biggest electricity company to:
      – prevent it to be sold to foreign interests
      – prevent price hikes to benefit the investors
      – prevent the company to deny services to the population as electricity is now an essential service in most parts of the world
      – profits are redistributed to the population

I really wonder where the population is screwed! Of course you can’t apply that to everything unless you’re in Cuba or China, but nobody in Western countries wants this either.

Now what about that absolute baffling comment about welfare! The goal of the safety net is never to keep the people in eternal poverty!
It’s the exact opposite. Selfishness and looking the other way when there are millions of people around you who don’t have access to the same privileges don’t make it go away.

And it works in most if not all democratic countries.

Also you can’t have people starving all around you, it’s in your interest to have them paid a basic living standard otherwise your Ivory tower will either shrink until it collapses or you will live in an anarchist police state with no security and shrinking freedoms only available to the elite.

    2. @John Patrick
Whatever happened to Trump’s, “No quid pro quo?”
Why is he trying to let Russia off the hook, and trying to blame Ukraine for the “sweeping and systematic” interference in the 2016 election?
Why is Trump’s private lawyer involved in any of this?
Why is the ambassador to the EU involved in Ukrainian affairs?
I may not know everything about “whatever drug deal they’ve got cooked up,” but I know enough to call bullshit on this whole sordid affair.
A word of caution; Abuse of power isn’t the only article of impeachment waiting for Trump.

    1. I’m sorry? How could one person make you ashamed to be from your state? I am not ashamed of my state no matter what somebody else does.

  1. “Largely true?” The new “I’m not guilty” lol good job Jake, fact check as the lying in real time continues.

  2. Like the song says:🎶”I can tell you’re lying….cause when you’re replying….stutter.. stutter.. stutter.. stutter!”

  3. I will fight this mans reelection with everything I’ve got and everyone I know. He has now shown that he has no regard for the law. He has chosen Party over the Constitution he has wowed to protect and defend he needs to go.

    1. It’s ok to give an opinion if no one else agrees..that’s why it’s an opinion. Republicans are out there to cover for Trump after he blantily asked RUSSIA AND CHINA for help in his re election..Trump is a CORRUPT president who has connections with the Russian Mob..Republicans in the Congress dont seem to care. Democratic process will take place this week..and the lies will be so obvious to most

    1. History will show that the Media propagandist is a cancer to the United States with the constant misleading about our President

    2. They don’t care about history or anyone but themselves. Short term opportunists and crooks. Lacking empathy too.

Cowards, Sociopaths and narcissists = GOP

  4. When a Trumper says “I’m not here to argue” they really mean “I’m not here to be corrected by facts”

    1. Exactly! Additionally, the most solid _explanation_ for why they are not there to argue(!), for that matter, and in terms of formal logic, is: “because there are no sound arguments to back it up.” And _that_ is true in _more_ than just in terms of formal logic.

    2. He actually tries defending Trump by saying he is consistent. Not persuasive, Ron. Consistency does not turn lies into truth.

    1. Got nothing to do with his tongue, Johnson is my inept lying Senator. “It happens all the time.”
