    1. He needs counseling. We talk about mental health but it’s all politics. No one is really interested.

  1. Mr. Spainhouer is an incredible man, and for what he witnessed will stay with him for a very long time. His son did the right thing and saved lives. My heart hurts, for the families who have lost loved ones and those who were injured.

  2. He’s going to need to get a Therapist asap. That’s some serious trauma to witness

    1. Not only him. The entire country needs it. We need preventative maintenance. Preemptive therapeutic measures should be taken nationally.

    1. Since it’s an almost daily occurrence it’s a safe bet you will soon. Might even be your child you see.

  3. Stephan is obviously traumatized by his speech in this video. This man is a gift for what he did but cursed by what happened in front of his eyes. I wish him the best!

  4. Wow, that was a powerful message. My heart aches for the victims and their families, changes have to be made now.

  5. This man is amazing. We need to thank people like him. He had no reason to go there other than he wanted to protect his son. And he helped as many people as he could. He is a true Hero. Thank god there are people like him in this world.ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤

    1. ā€‹@Fjb Atyoutube1 someday, when one of your family member gets shot, we’ll see what your opinion on “disarmament” is. Easy to talk ammendment, rights when its not your wife n kids.

    2. He’s also a hero for pointing out that there’s no fix for mental health issues. These tragedies call for a more actionable plan than thoughts and prayers. Sadly I think these shootings will continue to increase.

    1. Yeah we need to take guns away from law-abiding citizen so only criminals have them I think that’s the best idea

    2. There will always be mental health issues for which many people do not seek any help or perhaps they feel the way they do because of their background. Guns do not kill the people using the guns.

    3. @David You’re as dense as concrete. Common sense gun restrictions would have stopped this.

  6. Thank you, sir. Please get yourself some helpā€”spiritual leader, therapist, something. What you saw is something no one should see, and the shock of it is traumatic. Holding you and the families in my thoughts with so much empathy, care, and hope for healing. Your heart is big and your message is important.

  7. Thank you to this man who sadly had to help is a maddening situation GOD Bless Everyone ā¤ GOD Bless Everyone

May GOD comfort you.Thank you sir.God put you there for a reason.Thank you.
I lived in Allen,Texas ā¤ GOD Bless Everyone

  9. I”m so sorry for what he had to endure – it had to be traumatizing. I am grateful for his thoughts on gun reform. We need more people like him who own guns speaking out about the need for restrictions so we all can be safe.

  10. It means a lot hearing it from this gentlemanā€™s point of view. Sending him my love and thanks.

  11. I feel for that man, he will never be the same. And grateful that people like him step up. I hope all first responders, regardless of law enforcement, emergency services or civilian, get access to whatever support they need.

  12. My heart goes out to him. No one should ever have to see or deal with anything like this. For what it’s worth, I’d like to say thank you for being there. I know I am only one of many millions of Amercans who care about what you went through and are grateful for your efforts. I was once on the scene of a very serious accident. We can’t unsee or undo the trauma we’ve seen or been through, but we can listen to it’s lessons and learn to let it go. Willie Nelson said it well – it’s not something you get over, but it’s something you get through.
We will not give up. We will find the answers.

  13. A true hero, such a kind hearted man that jumped into action when he saw people needing help. It must have been traumatizing to him to see the victims that didnā€™t make it, but he remained focused on helping that little boy. Heā€™s advocates for the right to own a gun, but sees the need to ha som regulations. True Texas hospitality and kindness.
