    1. I agree, US has been spot on in the support but, at this point, holding on long range rockets and requiring Ukraine not to hit Russian targets in Russian territory is a mistake.

    2. @John Pointon ~wish I could give you more LIKEs~Isn’t it a horrifying shame…weapons just sit while putin gets more…Will the west…NATO extend the genocide beyond 2023 ?

  1. When I go shopping in my local supermarket , I refuse to buy anything made in China , for example confectionery , white sugar and white flour is one of the cheapest food ingredients and confectionery can be made in numerous countries worldwide at reasonable prices .
Australians should remember that China refused to continue to buy Australian coal , seafood , wines , and many other produce and left many of the suppliers in a difficult situation with their produce aboard ships that China refused to let unload in China .
China continues to buy Australia iron ore because they can’t get a quantity and quality supply elsewhere , in other words they are just using their Australian supplier for their own selfish reasons so why would Australians want to continue to buy from China ?

    1. I’m the same I buy nothing from china you can buy thongs or in USA flip flops that don’t come from china you got to look but can be done cheers

  2. These “double tap” attacks really make me feel ill. Targeting the people who’ve gone to help victims is just so sick.

    1. Targeting responders is yet another War Crime. What we should do is kick out the Russians from the USA. Every last one of them. That way they have no vote at the UN Security Council.

    2. Biden is 100% right. Ukraine doesn’t need F 16. Ukraine needs Nukes.
Give the Ukraine 10 nukes so they have basic arguments  Russian people can understand . They don’t have use them but will have them for present and future SAFETY .
When they have nukes Zelensky can make announcement :
You have 5 days to leave our land or we will start attacking your towns.

I am sure that Russians within 48 hours  will start protesting in millions. They will find empathy and caurage very quickly to stand against Putin. Even the most staunch supporters of Putin.
      Human nature in a nutshell.
      …..
I am sure Moskovites prefer to enjoy their lives rather than cowtow to crazy  Tzar.
It will help them get rid of Putin if their safety is on the line.

      ….
Save lives on both side. Unless it is not your goal and you want to drag this war for 2 – 5 years.
Eighter you support Ukraine or not.
Put your money where your mouth is.
      How current in these days.
By the way it wasn’t China who signed the Budapest memorandum. It was US with UK.
      ……
The amount of tanks Ukrainian gets is laughable. 100 tanks  could be destroyed within one week in unfortunate time. I don’t understand all the hipe with these tanks.

  3. IF 🇨🇳 CHINA WANTS TO HELP RUSSIA 🇷🇺 THEN AMERICA 🇺🇸 & OUR 50+ ALLIES IN SUPPORT OF UKRAINE 🇺🇦 CAN STEP UP OUR GAME TOO & SEND UKRAINE THE F-16’S ETC.ETC THAT THEY’VE BEEN ASKING FOR, BAM 🇺🇸🇺🇦💯💪

    1. @Michael Morningstar Russia could kill millions around the world in hours with their nukes, it’s still an option for them unfortunately.

    2. @sc1338 I pray Russia falls apart and a special NATO + China denuclearization operation will be swift and ruthless.

    3. @Michael Morningstar I don’t know from where you get your information from, but Wagner and the Russian Army is slowly but surely encircling Bakhmut. And don’t forget, Russia is much more powerful than Ukraine – when they aren’t funded Billions from the US and NATO. This war is not directly between Ukraine and Russia, but actually a Proxy war between NATO and Russia. Ukrainians using HIMARS and Leopards and whatnot. Probably in the upcoming months they’ll even receive F-16s. If you ask me, fighting Ukraine is harder since there are soldiers willing to die for their land. But the West and their current generation will do a far worse job at it.

  4. U S is looking at defence not aggression. Ukraine wants aggression equipment. US is not wanting to escalate war only defend Ukraine.

  5. Casablanca Morocco
It’s nice for the people of the world to see the members of the European Parliament and the Commission of the European Union warmly applauding President Mr. Zelensky, which will give hope to the Ukrainian people and their resistance.
But will the applause be as warm as the military, political and logistical support of the Ukrainian people and their government?
    Glory to Ukraine

  6. All the sanctions against Russia that are in place, should be extended to ALL the Countries (including India, Iran & China) that are Aiding and supporting Putin in his destruction of the Ukraine. Instead of the “Piecemeal” approach (which in itself is ridiculous) taken with Russia, the full force of the Sanctions should be placed on these Countries with immediate effect. Victory to Ukraine.xx

    1. @asdf asdf dude gave up on life so badly he just called him self asdf x2. btw u see my account is called sean. thats because im called sean.
      enjoy ur day ‘asdf’

  7. Its beyond me when they say it could be a provocation if we send long range missiles to Ukraine when Russia has been using them from day one? Ukraine has every right to hit Russian targets

    1. @zyilund I say it’s vital they do . Until the people themselves feel the impact , they won’t process the ramifications of their actions.

    2. @Santosh Joshi maybe the fact it’s not our war to fight and in the end the US is going to do what’s in its best interest I don’t see anything coming for free

    3. @Salokym x But thats not really up to Russia… I understand they don’t… but, it’s Ukraines choice to join Nato. By attacking Ukraine, any doubts Ukraine had about joining Nato are surely gone. Without doubt, they will join.

    4. @Salokym x when you’re talking true blooded Americans in the heartland, those boys spend their lives prepping for just that .. blajajaj bring it on . Stock piles of Ammo , firearms and bunkers ..

  8. The constant fear of escalatioin is the thing that keeps prolonging this war. Had we given Ukraine what they needed as soon as possible, they could have been much more effective fighting against the russian forces before they have had a chance to scrape in more cannon fodder.

    1. I agree. This could have been over last year if we hadn’t held back. Countless lives could have been saved on both sides. Biden is wrong. Our own generals say that they need F-16 fighters. Biden should listen to his own experts. They say we should also send Reaper drones, which we should. We can’t let Russia decide what we will and won’t send. No matter what we send, they’re going to say it’s an escalation.

    2. Had they just joined nato 20 years ago along with Taiwan this wouldn’t be a current issue when you’re a democracy surrounded by communism common sense would dictate to have Allie’s.

    3. They been smashed to pieces by Russia they stole the oli wells control the powers stations occupation on the port took the farm lands and grain and removed airports the only thing Ukraine will have left is a cemetery and rubble Ukraine can’t win and NATO is scared to engage where does the money go the f16s are pointless they cost 400 thousand every time they fire a rocket they can’t fly anything over Ukraine its all bs

    4. @regan dunn so you admit Russia is doing a genocide, stealing everything Ukraine has a plan is to destroy everything just to claim a bit more land to the biggest country in the world. All this to a nation they say are their borthers. And you are supporting that? Even if you’re just doing paid work to troll and do not believe a single word you write, you are still actually supporting that with what you do. Is this really the best thing to do with your life?

    5. @Ken Stewart You can thank Turkey (and some other country, Norway maybe, I don’t remember) for Ukraine not joining NATO.

  9. If the attacker draws lines and says we shouldn’t use this or that to defend ourselves it is typical bully behaviour. When we are being attacked and have to fight for survival then there are no morals. Never surrender to bullies!

    1. When Putin and the Kremlin thugs make vague threats and red lines about tanks, fighter jets or long range missiles, you tell them we’ll double the weaponry supply to Ukraine, just for laughs.

    2. Indeed, your attacker does not get to determine what you can use to defend yourself. It’s absurd. Goes to show how completely out of touch ridiculous political decision making is.

    3. Biden is 100% right. Ukraine doesn’t need F 16. Ukraine needs Nukes.

  10. Mentioned almost off the cuff & in passing Burns notes the Ukraine war has “. . .not exactly been a great advertisement for Russian arms sales.” This should be the lead story of each day’s coverage of the Ukraine war . . . that we’re seeing yet again how Russia’s hardware is proving to be completely substandard, even in the hands of the best-trained Russian operators.

As seen in encounter after encounter across the world for the past 40 years, when Russian hardware meets its Western (primarily US) counterpart on the battlefield, the Russian stuff loses – big time & decisively. Previously, we might have chalked up such utter failures to the weaponry being in the hands of third world armies, or other poorly trained/equipped forces, but now we see that even in the hands of “native operators,” the Russian hardware fails.

If I were one among a slew of third world customers of Russian arms, I would hope that I only ever need them for suppression of rag tag rebel groups within my own country, and that I never have to face US hardware head-on. Oh, those third world nations & terrorist organizations which have no other vendor, will still buy the crap, but perhaps this will create some pause in their thinking when considering using it against a friend of US . . . they’ll face weaponry which they know is superior to anything they have, whether it comes at them in our hands or our friend’s hands.

Russia has gone all-in with a pair of deuces and revealed to the world that its equipment and its army are nothing more than “this year’s model” of Saddam Hussein’s military . . . a fighting force equipped with inadequate hardware and unable to contend effectively with a determined adversary. Basically, Russia is 1991 or 2003 Iraq with nukes . . . a nation run by an egomaniac, whose fighting forces are poorly led, armed, trained & equipped, with lots of oil & natural gas on which Europe is “hooked,” but with nothing else of significant value to the world.

  11. Bullies always threaten. Once you give in to threats, you have nothing left and the bully holds all of the cards. You must not give into threats of ANY SORT. Victory to Ukraine!

  12. If China is looking to get involved now, it means they have designs on Taiwan. Canada, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea have to prepare for it. North Korea is also a concern in this.

  13. The death of every Ukrainian in this “Putin war of choice” is a tragedy while the death of every Russian war criminal is a step closer to a more peaceful world. Support Ukraine. Slava Ukraine.

  14. I once heard or read when I was young that during the Vietnam War, one enemy was killed for every 30,000 rounds that the US fired. If that is even close to true, then you can figure the logistics of the Ukraine war.

  15. I have to admit, I was never a big fan of the military industrial complex but once in a while reality slaps you in the face and you start to see why it’s still necessary in this world. Hopefully *Rump or someone like him never gets near that seat of that power again…that’s also very scary.

  16. Having everything made in China doesn’t sound like such a good idea now, does it? As Dr. Phil says, “How’s that working for ya now?”
