    1. They need to speak to the police, but i understand why they won’t. How many cops are criminals on the take themselves? They could be behind the acts, hiring other crimials to do the dirty work. After the horrendous murder of Donna-Lee & coverup by police for the policeman involved i wouldn’t trust the cops at all! The horrible crimes happening in Jamaica need to hit home at the government, their families & children & until that happens they won’t do anything as it doesn’t affect them! Violence doesn’t solve violence, but it helps.

    2. Do you know any scamma, or gunman, or corrupt police? Why don’t you inform on
Them?🤔. Somethings are easier said than done. Sounds very easy just like living healthy but not easy when it’s time to put in practice.

  1. I’m not suprise if some big people behind all these evil things that is happening to these people, because they want the area to develop.

  2. Jamaica is too small for these things to happen on such a regular scale. The authorities must have a hand it this foolishness make no damn sense to me.

    1. You se when I make a comment and someone is going to make excuses as to why the criminal activities cannot be controlled don’t expect me to entertain your argument.

    2. @drewski Connecticut is one of the smallest little pieces of USA you coulda pick and Jamaica is still smaller. As a matter of fact Jamaica is close to 20% smaller. So yes Jamaica is a small place and I cant figure out why you want to oppose that.

    3. @alfred wilsbury Alfred l said approximately and why would you compare Jamaica to the USA? Barring Cuba and the island of Espaneola which DR and Haiti shares Jamaica is the 3rd largest island and the largest of the English speaking Caribbean. I am not making an excuse but to think the police can just up and find criminals it is not so easy. They are also under staffed and poorly funded. Funny the bigger Hawaiian island is called the Big island and yet Jamaica is larger than both islands combined. Also for the record there are a lot of unsolved crimes in Trinidad less than 1/2 the size of Jamaica and other smaller islands have unsolved crimes so again why do you think crimes in Jamaica should be easily solved?

    4. @drewski You didn’t say approximately you said Jamaica is the size of Connecticut, your unedited comment is up there. Secondly, I didn’t compare Jamaica to USA, you did. Quite frankly, Jamaica being the 3rd largest of the Caribbean whether or not you exclude certain countries serves no relevance as it is still tiny! You can drive from the top of Kingston to Downtown in 35 minutes (over an hour with traffic, that’s poor road networking for you). The police can definitely up and find these criminals but they won’t for the most part. Alot of police are affiliated with criminals so it wouldn’t be in their best interest to go after them. The corruption in Jamaica runs very deep. Where did I say the crimes should be easily solved? There are so many statements you claim I’ve made it’s interesting. In any case whataboutism isn’t going to get anyone anywhere. Whichever country has unsolved crimes is their own problem and is simply not a reason to excuse having a murder per capita rate in the top 10… of the world!

    5. @alfred wilsbury exclude certain countries like? What other countries did I exclude? I am not making an excuse for the crime in Jamaica. I also listed a number of factors that prevent the police from solving a lot of the crime. The drive across Kingston is about same as my drive across Barbados. That’s to show how miniscule the other islands are in comparison to Jamaica and yet they have unsolved crimes.

  3. Sigh, you know your country has failed when persons are going to the dumb for their “food and bread”

  4. This is completely unacceptable! I’m gobsmacked as to why these despicable actions are being allowed to continue. Is firebombing houses now a trend? We should respect our elders and look out for one another not wreaking havoc and mayhem and making them homeless. Stop the madness ✋🏾

    1. It’s a massive squatting community area spoilers area most of the homes owner left the area from the 80s now fast forward today its good real estate because down town got plans for development

    2. That dump needs to go … who down in that slump needs move away from that idea thatba yah me born a yah mi stay both a spiritual and physical level. Yes I do believe the government should outline a plan of what will happen afterwards for the people down there as well where this next dump site will be and it must take vastly the consideration of the environment.

  5. The government just need to bulldozer these ghetto places..and eradicate these dutty gunmen of the area. These people them can’t live like this in these deplorable conditions. Shame on the GOVERNMENT

  6. This is slowly, alarmingly, becoming normal. Just as someone getting shot is just another day in the land we love. Sigh

  7. Me heart pain me to see these things, I might not have family there but none the lest that lady could be my mom that sick man Lord help them Jesus

  8. Jah jah jesus mercy of god have mercy on the people that have mercy what happened with all these displaced people that have been left with nothing I’m not voting for anybody Jamaica is truly gone

  9. I have no words. All these people sweat and hard work to build their dwellings has gone all because of some losers that has nothing to live for. The government need to do something about this NOW

  10. What a condition this is not fair to the the citizen Good God almighty…if she wants to leave let her go she was a good representative

  11. I understand that the people depend on this for a living, but what about the people with health issues like breading problems living in housing development like Duhaney Park, do they understand the smoke,. Dust, and other things that is effecting these tax paying residents. I have family living in Dulaney Park and every day they have to have every window and doors shut, and the house is very hot, just to try and keep the smoke and dust coming from the dump, night and day it makes no difference also the smell. So I agree with the Prime Minister find some other way to locate the dunp.
