  1. Parents don’t listen, care or follow directions. Without the protection of children from the pandemic keep them at home period. Protect your children. American schools teach nothing good. All you need to consider is the health of your children. You voted for Trump now suffer the consequences. You can’t have it both ways. Wear your mask people

    1. I have 4 kids, and they loved the remote learning far more than in person school. For the first few weeks, they were back to in-person classes, but so many students have tested positive now, we are back to remote learning.

Prior to them going back to remote learning, several students had signed and turned in an open leader to the Principal about how they’ve been benefiting more from remote learning, than they were from in-person classes.

The Principal had mentioned there is no plan to ever do away with the remote learning, as there have already been discussions about using remote learning for Snow days and other days the students used to miss for bad weather, now they can still attend school without missing out on a day or two.

    2. @Jeremy Backup its flu season and all the hoildays, seems ridiculous to make kids go back and forward. We love remote learning. You save so much in time and money, clothes, gas, cleaning, the only thing is food, having a hungry teenager around fulltime is its own challenge but then i have been having world life classes with him on cooking, cleaning. I am glad i only have the one. 💜😎💜

  2. republicans in theory = We’re the party of pro-life, family values, and protecting first responders.
republicans in practice = Who cares about the kids, let them get sick, and if you teachers can’t afford to protect yourselves, try being less poor.

    1. This is an accurate assumption. My brother is still a Trump supporting Conservative, and we’ve had lots of discussions around these subjects. I finally got him to admit that the Republican party of today, has evolved into everything the Republican party from 8+ years ago, used to stand against and speak out on.

    2. @Jeremy Backup
I imagine it was difficult for him to admit that, but it takes extreme COURAGE to do. Congratulations on bringing your brother around and your brother literally deserves a medal for acknowledging it!

  3. It’s worse for college students since there’s no reduction is tuition.

And you also don’t really learn anything as well.

  4. At this time, what’s more important; life or death? It’s a no brainier. You’d think that with death all around would cause more trauma. Keep it simple stupid.

    1. @David Hale ….. Your cult leader infected 30,000 of your fellow cultists with his Coronarallies and at least 700 of them died.

      No great loss?

    2. @David Hale The Amoral, FASCIST
      Trump sycophants are hitting their
bottom. The typical FAKE X-TIAN FASCISTS are phenomenally MORALLY BANKRUPT and HYPOCRITICAL. They will continue to be BOTTOM Feeders until they become brave enough, to LOOK at THEMSELVES in the MIRROR!! … Eventually they’ll have to OWN their shortcomings, and wrong doings because LIBERALS, are taking they’re SCAPEGOATS away.
The GREAT NEWS, is that the smart, and morally superior, younger generations totally despise and LOATHE FASCISM/TRUMPISM.👍🏻🇺🇸🥳

  5. This is a ridiculous argument. The student’s ability to learn when they are virtual is being compared to what? Is it being compared to last year when they were in school and there was no virus? Yes, if you compare any situation in an environment without the virus, we would say yes, it is worse. This guy does not know what he is talking about. Do you think we are effectively teaching our kids in the classroom while masked and social distanced. Guess what, there is no effective learning during a pandemic period! In school or virtual is a moot point to argue when you know people around you are dying. One thing I do know, virtual learning as limited as it is, is safer not just for the students but for the community. If closing school is so damaging then why close school over the summer? It is the virus stupid.

  6. Schools should be closed!!!! This is a pandemic!!! People die from this !!! If people (parents, teachers and or children) deathly sick and or dead how much will they learn at that point.

  7. He really doesn’t care about disadvantaged children…He fostered abuse. He abetted the Trump cult aka nazism.. He hates Jews and Yeshua of Nazareth.

  8. What’s worse, delays in education or helping a child deal with the loss of a parent or teacher. Children might not get sick or die but they spread Covid . What the what !

    1. Oxymoronic 😂 Besides that kids have missed school for months on end before and been just fine, I speak from experience! I had mono in high school, majority of teachers didn’t bother sending home homework for me even though my parents asked numerous times, this was before the internet which was more complicated! I was out of school for months, really behind, I caught up along with my normal school work and graduated with way more credits than I needed! I didn’t do summer school or anything, just worked harder! Things happen that we can’t control! It’s BS that this is gunna damage kids! Parents have to do their part to help and so do teachers! This pandemic isn’t anything any of us can control! There was a time before computers! Either get kids computers, send them elsewhere, learn on their own or catch up later, there’s way more options than we had ages ago! If we missed months of school we just hoped teachers would send home school work so we could do it on our own! It’s not the end of the world! It’s not worth killing kids over!

  9. Kids in Netherlands did not learn anything while being online …

Meanwhile in Arizona, kids weren’t learning anything anyways since 1972 🤷🏻‍♂️
    😂😂😂

  10. Who cares about how shutting down schools “impact” students and parents…… suffocating impacts everyone. Get over it you crybabies.

  11. Schools are being hit JUST LIKE EVERYONE is and should observe the rules just like everyone – well intentioned EXCEPTIONS all over the USA appear to be what is creating this increase in CV19 victims.
