Health Canada has approved Pfizer's antiviral pill Paxlovid for at-risk adult patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptoms. This is the full Jan. 17 update from officials including Canada's chief medical officer Dr. Theresa Tam; chief medical adviser with Health Canada Dr. Supriya Sharma; and Deputy Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Howard Njoo.
