    1. That dramatic surge in demand 2 to 4 weeks ago is going to have a lasting effect of inflation. While demand is dramatically lower now than normal, the prices are going up. It sucks. We need money if we’re to keep participating in the economy. And we’re all going to get really mad if the majority who have to work for low pay end up being screwed over really bad. We’re already getting screwed over for many years now, but the greed of corporations and landlords is becoming too much showing us there’s no upper limit to the greed and they do intend to rape our country and world completely clean of all resources going to only a few.

  1. There are no sales at all right now. Chains will pay for this practice when this is over. Their business is up. Their prices are up. They’re making more money. But……no sales. Disappointing!

    1. Sales were so high a month ago nearly everything was sold, but now demand is slowing way down. People racked up as much debt as they could a month ago to buy up everything preparing for end game, but now the debt will be called due and the economy will limp for a long time to come. Yes, the stock and real estate investors are making all the money speculating, but the real economy is going down the rabbit hole though not the end of the world yet. It’s a greedy system most dishonest to the core that intends to destroy every country’s sovereignty and strip the world clean of wealth and resources just so a few in the cabal can take all and rule us all from one throne. It’s high time people in every country rise up to take a stand against tyranny.

    1. Right we need to boldly embrace, ‘Land of the free and home of the brave,’ but money has us hijacked out and corrupted. We are in big trouble as is the entire world for greed has no upper limit and the greedy one intends to strip this entire world bare of everything just so a few can take all. It’s the end game of a most mature cycle of capitalism so complex for it’s the high tech global era.

  2. wait until the data comes in…..Sufficient Data accumulated “Data” ya know where you have a large enough sample population and/or number of occurrences. People will be shamed until the day they die a natural death.

  3. There is something very wrong in this crisis…..and I am talking about the supermarkets that are making HUGE profits right now and they are the only ones thriving in this terrible devastating times.
The economy is suffering and how come are they not helping by lowering the prises?
And authorities should look into this! Quickly.

    1. Carmen Love I think they are purposefully keeping items like TP stocked low so we keep having to go back repeatedly hoping they’re in stock. At least that’s what’s going on in my town.

    2. @Hector Peabody Maybe in your town but here we get shipments in as usual if not more, people just grab everything as it gets stocked. Supermarkets still are making one hell of a profit right now though

    1. Doug Shaw I’m still working and still taking my 12 month old to Walmart 3 times a week. My life is normal as hell and stimulus checks just a bonus for me

  4. How is filing everyone through one door, one narrow aisle, and one checkout supposed to keep us safe? It’s supposed to be social DISTANCING, not bottlenecking. If idiots ignore the marks on the floor, they’ll do it anywhere.

    1. When movement equals life, look who has US playing pocket billiards waiting just to go inside the store? Love that 6′ rule. Reminds me og Hitchhiker’s Guide when the people in the tavern are all lying down with bags over there heads waiting for the end… “Will it help?” nah…

    1. the unUSEFULidiot its a state of confusion. A state of fear. A state of ignorance , which is bliss, I hear.

  5. Stores have gone REEtard over CV! Time to open up and quit looking like a fn Portland Antifa rally, America!

  6. Won’t be long there will be empty shelves but still full of people, no doors or windows with zombies in the streets foaming at the 👄

  7. Dont let them fool you. Here in texas super markets look like black friday everyday. The streets are packed.

  8. We have the plexiglass in the stores, plus some stores have barriers behind too. The debit machine is disinfected after each use.

  9. Has anyone else noticed that before the shelter -in-place orders went into effect, there was this big govt. pressure to get stores to switch back to paper bags – and then after it went into effect the supermarkets went back to handing out plastic bags instead?
