    1. Wearing a face covering or mask reduces your oxygen and significantly increases your intake of carbon dioxide 🌹

    2. Sure you can,you cut a hole were your mouth is and hang a flap over the hole, raise the flap and start shoveling and drink from a sippy cup

  1. Sharing eating utensils and touching surface areas that will undoubtedly be contaminated by day’s end; what could possibly go wrong?

    1. @Sam Boudreau no ace here just going by Government Advice, my own Government not that utter nutcase in the White House

    2. @68majortom well no offense, but i am an indedpendent, and can clearly see how bad the msm is. does not take a rocket scientist. i can clearly see how the liberals are so mislead like sheople by the msm. very sad site to see as an outsider just viewing the situation

    3. Sam Boudreau You say you’re an independent but don’t mention by far the worst “news” outlet of them all….Fox?!?
Lol, mate, yer a feckin joke!
And obviously lying about where your allegiance lies….

  2. Here in San Francisco, Specialty’s Bakery had to close its 50 locations in three states with 1,400 employees. They were a local favorite. And if they couldn’t survive after 10 weeks, what hope do the small mom and pop restaurants have?
Maybe if the federal government was actually able to deliver that $3 trillion in aid, Main St. would be able to weather this crisis.

    1. Ro G – I’m assuming some idiots didn’t like logic and reported the post multiple times, but I still see it as the first comment.

    2. Mom and Pop probably carry no debt, have low costs, savings etc. It’s the corporates with their massive overheads which are in real trouble.

    3. I am sorry for ANY business going under, but elections have consequences. Elect an incompetent criminal con man….you get conned out your money.

    4. True. It is easier for Trump to give a $ 1.5 trillion tax cut to tge wealthy than to help the people.

    1. I really wanted to go back to my gym but it’s not going to happen not for a few years at least it’s at all ever again.

  3. Wearing of masks is of vital importance to make the reopenings work. We lose when we let ego come first.

  4. Unless there’s a vaccine, i’m not going to sit in a restaurant with strangers breathing stale air for a couple of hours.

    1. @Sam McCormack There is a flu vaccine – I get the flu shot every year in the fall. I am hopeful (but guessing) that there will be a vaccine for covid available by the spring of 2021. It is highly unlikely that there will ever be a vaccine for colds because there are so many strains of cold germs.

    2. @Michael in HoustonThere are many strains of flu and the shot is for 1 strain. I remember when the CDC recommended a shot one year with 3 strains of flu in it. A different flu came around and it was a very bad flu year. This is why I don’t trust WHO or CDC. Viruses mutate and this is the main reason why we don’t have vaccines for viruses, not much anyway.

  5. If every restaurant was out doors and lots of seating maybe and I feel for every restaurant and employee.

  6. Once our staple genius let the infection reached more than 20 percentage of the population then it’s unstoppable unless we have vaccine. Stay safe Americans

    1. Andrew Zimmern is a super smart dude but I’m afraid you’re right. Looks like 80% of restaurants will be closing. SMFH

  7. Anyone for Russian roulette? There will be a barrel full of bullets though, anyone?😷

  8. The problem is too fundamental. Just look at the many demonstrations on YT of how a bug is spread by normal dinner conversation, movement of people inside a restaurant, sharing utensils. The whole culture is going to have to change. There will be a second wave, there will be a new virus or mutation. Without a whole infrastructure in place to test, track and contain the next outbreak, don’t expect most people to go to restaurants like they used to.

  9. 2020 new concept restaurants: Drive Thru Take-Outs, Open Air Dinings, Dine-In Parks, Side-ways Car Dining, Car-park Dining, Mini Isolation Rooms…..etc! For added safety..bring your own utensils and other safety equipments! LOL

  10. I never cared for comments until the last week when I noticed how bad things are in America and what Trump means for America
and the free world. A new super power China and it may already be to late, he has crazy followers who just refuse to live in reality.
The richest country in the world and other countries not as rich are taking much better care of there businesses and people.Wow.

  11. Being a germaphobe does have its advantages – ask the orange head, as he is still alive! 🤢🤢🤢

  12. I see the Need of all Enterprises, big or small, but please remember – DEAD CUSTOMERS WILL NEVER BE CUSTOMERS AGAIN!
