@aridan23 well that’s all very nice and true but all i am saying is at some point you just have to let people wear masks and work to make a living instead of relying on whatever the government decides it can afford. people need to survive. we are getting into the crunch period where many of us will lose our homes. i would rather take a risk with masks and social distancing to be able to work than NOT working but being safer in the lock-down and having my life shrink along with the economy.

Nor can democrats. When we look at the police Killings and shootings of unarmed Black people we see these are all in our most progressive in democrat controlled cities. We also see crises of systemic racism in our most progressive in democrat controlled cities. I think it is we who had the problem.
You suggest there is systemic racism, and then continue to blame people not in charge of the places where they protest it. Democrats are in charge, Trump isn’t creating systemic racism, LOL.

We keep wanting to blame Trump or the Republicans , but we are shutting our eyes to reality. Let’s count the deaths of unarmed Black people in our cities. There’s the guy who was selling untaxed cigarettes in New York City, Ferguson (not a police officer and the victim was a Hispanic, but riots occurred nevertheless) Baltimore, Minneapolis, Atlanta, Louisville are all Democrat party controlled cities and very progressive cities. Then we also have the killing fields in predominantly minority areas. The southside of Chicago comes to mind, again we have New York City where black lives are murdered.
Now we have the violent rioting occurring in our wonderful progressive cities like Portland, Seattle, Austin. If we look at these factors that were identified by Kenneth Stamp, In his book, A Peculiar Institution, Slavery in the antebellum South, he identified conditions that existed in the slave mines of South America, the Cain fields of the Caribbean and the slave plantations of the American South. The same conditions exist in the minority areas of our most progressive cities.
As a Democrat I feel we must recognize the above and call for change. We should demand those in leadership position in these cities resign. I am calling for the resignation of the mayor and council in Minneapolis to resign for a long time because they are inept.
These problems are our problems and trying to shuffle them off onto Trump there’s a losing proposition and will likely caused the deaths of innocent people to continue in our progressive cities. This is no cause to laugh.
Everyone needs to interview Trump like Jonathan Swan did. Challenge him in real time with verified facts and ask him for receipts.
Wasn’t it refreshing to see a journo not shy away from the real facts and issues.

Statistically, more white people are affected. Systemic racism? Who is the party in charge prior to Trump? Racism didn’t just suddenly get created because of Trump. Why is blm killing black people? You ignore facts.
Why were 25 people shot in only a couple neighborhoods in Chicago last weekend? You want cops to calm down, calm the neighborhoods they patrol down.
Since liberals are so smart, create a law that forces a black man to stay with the woman he impregnated to raise the child to be an upstanding adult. Nothing else is going to move the needle.
Also, all the white people here that are so woke…what percentage of the neighborhood you chose to live in is black. Answer that for yourself then take your look in the mirror.

You know what? Innocent white people also get murdered by police. We should ALSO change that so NOBODY ends up just as an already dead victim of brutality.
