AND he assured everyone this was not a problem, it was contained, the cases would go down to zero, it’s not as bad as the flu and people should go about their business! Those words alone will lead to thousands of deaths. Every transmission in early stage of a pandemic leads to thousands down the road, and Trump was encouraging this! 2. Regarding what you call propaganda, when this plays out in one month, will you go back and reassess what was being said on Rachel Maddow and other “liberal” shows vs. what Fox and Trump were telling people?

Cyasis to me it sounds like you’re not very educated. Do you know that the corona virus is way easier to catch than a simple flu. They say about 10 to 15 time easier to catch. Look at how many people have die because of a simple flu, now 10 to 15 time that number. That’s your real death number. Not to mention we’re only less than a month in.

Currently the claim, or the strategy/ protocol, is to collaborate with the PAHO, for the world to address situations like this. How on earth did we slip up so badly? Hopefully, pride has not overiden health sense and decision. Such carelesness, is “treacherously” difficult to fathom. How could this ever be happening before our face? Look at the human blockade at airports, over exposing citizens to obvious contamination. Immediate action should have been, to ensure, the steady flow of traffic, to defray the killing of the intent, that of space distancing. Such a danger, is nothing but shortcoming, a “genocide contamination of the disease”. What else could it be called/ labelled? Gross malpractice on human beings, remain in- excusable, and all should be made accountable, by paying freely for all the hardship encountered and associated with the disease. Data of all citizens should be retained by all media stations, for monitoring of the entire set of individuals, who travelled those days. Such data is to ensure the rendering of financial and health justice, be fairly and expeditiously ilicited. God bless us all, to be enlightened to do the right thing.

The Corona Virus Outbreak is going to have a massive effect on the United States!
Of all the first world countries on the planet, the US is the least prepared to deal with this outbreak. When it flares up here, and I’m sure it will, it will be devastating and here is why. One of the biggest reasons for it will be the fact that the GREED of the 1% has kept us from implementing a Medicare-for-All national health care system, a living wage and sick leave benefits for workers.
As they do with other colds and flu, these employees will continue to work and spread disease to others because they can’t afford to lose the money. They will also avoid the trip to the doctor to be diagnosed because they can’t afford the doctor visit.
Imagine all the restaurant and fast food workers preparing and serving your food while sick. Not a pretty picture is it? All because of the GREED of the 1% who fought tooth and nail to prevent quality health care for all!
Its more than the 1%. For years the American people have been terrified of “socialist” ideas like universal healthcare, affordable education and employment benefits. Democracy is the will of the voters. So it is the greed of the ordinary voters too.
I hope that now there is a realisation that guns and greed don’t keep you safe and communities healthy.
And that fast action in the USA can minimise the toll in this crisis.

Never been a Rachel Maddows fan, but I really liked the way she started this interview – asking an expert if she said anything wrong.
She has done it in several other interviews, it is a staple on her show. I like her research and focus on facts. She doesn’t go with hearsay. She shows factual matters. Very well informed lady and one of the best reporters. Andrea Mitchell is another one I like. Watch her more frequently and you’ll see.

Now testing is happening at public health labs on a greater scale.There are thousands of people walking around transmitting the virus throughout the population.
Testing on a nationwide scale, Social distancing, closing down schools, cancelling major events, and isolating infected individuals is necessary to keep it from spreading.
This did not happen soon enough.
If we test more, the “numbers” will go up. Our orange leader does not want that. So, we must stay calm and not say anything.
