The International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant Friday for Russian President Vladimir Putin and an official in his office responsible for children's rights because of their alleged involvement in the unlawful deportation and transfer of Ukrainian children from occupied areas of Ukraine to Russia.

The ICC, which is based in The Hague, Netherlands, alleges Putin and Maria Alekseyevna Lvova-Belova are responsible for war crimes.

Ukraine has already arrested and convicted some Russian soldiers, all of them low-ranking, for war crimes in Ukraine. The ICC's arrest warrant for Putin and Lvova-Belova marks the international court's first arrest warrant since Russia invaded Ukraine. Moscow has repeatedly denied allegations of war crimes in Ukraine.

  1. This is good. Putin’s travels will be limited to countries that support and protect him. Of all the countries in the world, those countries are few and far in between. It may take years to catch him, but he will be caught. Who knows, he could be caught by some of his own critics. One never knows.

    1. @Raz Tube – Hmmmmm Dude – That’s strange because It was on the NEWS tonight and they said the same thing I said. So it looks like you’re definitely not an expert at this either.

  2. I’m curious how much cash the US contributed to this investigation. They passed a special bill to fund this investigation, the victims and the witnesses of the alleged war crimes in Ukraine. Strange turn of events considering the US had previously sanctioned this court for wanting to investigate the US’s use of torture.

    1. They could invite him to an international meeting with other heads of state, then bring in a swat team to fight off his bodyguards and spies. Then the start of a nuclear war.

  3. Bout time. мы стоим с Вами ykpanha.🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
Some day, war itself will be considered criminal.

  4. Seriously, do you think Putin is concerned about being arrested. How the hell are you going to arrest him, it’s impossible. Putin must be laughing about that statement.

  5. Are you not familiar with the words: “Judge not others, lest you be judged.” ? Let’s condemn the International Criminal Court, that is, the criminals who have become vain people and who dared to say that they are better than others, because they judge peoples and ethnic groups that are culturally different from them. Shouldn’t we defend ourselves by condemning those inhumans, i.e. fascists individually and collectively? But we do this not because we do not share their cultural assets with our people, but because they destroy our cultural assets.
+ The mention of children only shows the hypocrisy of the monsters in the ICC.
