Im not saying that these workers don’t deserve a pay increase or not. However, ill say our medical care deserves more urgent care and change. There are not enough doctors in hospitals, why are we waiting 9 to 12 hrs to see a doctor in emergency care. Shortage of family doctors etc.
Healthcare is largely a provincial jurisdiction. Our health care system has undeniably mismanaged, but the federal government can work on more than one problem at a time. If workers are not getting a fair contract, they are right to fight for it collectively.

Canadian taxpayers have had enough of whiny federal employees who are paid far better than the private sector and have fully indexed pensions. No one wants to pay more taxes to compensate these under performing public sector employees
