  1. I thought this was a cool little thing Ari would do but now it’s starting to get cringey….

  2. Ari does these rapper interviews a lot. Ill let you decide his motivation.
    😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

    1. B.I.G. and Pac are only considered goats cause they died young. Nas raps circles around both of them. Jay… Not sooo much, but he’s definitely the most successful rapper ever.

    2. @Maximum FRESH They can’t be considered the goats , they don’t have that much body of work considered to Nas. 2pac is he only rapper who had influenced the world but even Nas inspired him.

  3. Jay z is one of the worst rappers I’ve ever heard. But what do I know ? I only have 2 music degrees….

    1. Definitely, if that’s the depth of your critique then you should try to get that tuition reimbursed.

    2. Lol who goes to get a degree in music😂 music is a right brain activity not left…it should be felt not theorized. I would feel bad too tho

  4. I don’t know why he entertains these misogynistic men. Rap has done nothing but further the demise of the black community.

  5. I forgot about da brat. She became platinum without taking her clothes off. And the way she dressed fits the current trend of not having a gender – she co-opted the men’s style and made it her own.

  6. Gangsta RAP was a CIA invention to erode the inner city and build the drug cartels to create more Black Budget funding *Thanx MTV*

  7. This little N don’t know $hit about Rap. As a. Man I hated what he said the other day about female rappers. Let him answer for that. I would have scrapped this interview Arie.

  8. Socialism = government for the society
Capitalism = government for the money. Which one will take care of you and your family? Blessings, Love is the answer

  9. I am totally triggered that msnbc would give the musical genre of rap a platform. Glorifying drugs, crime, and the degradation of women is unacceptable. Where’s my safe space? And someone bring me a coloring book pronto!

  10. Jermaine Dupri’s recent comments about female rappers diminish his credibility as the “rap historian” he is toting himself to be.
